    Why not sign Jack Parkman?
  2. Alright, first off, there are 5.3 million reasons the Sox haven't given up on Borchard. Second, if anyone were a fish out of water and hadn't experienced what it would be like to be a MLB GM, they would need some on the job training. Your 3rd point is stupid, and KW has made some good deals that just didn't pan out, he is an aggressive GM, you win some, you lose some.
  3. Is there any comfort difference between green and blue?
  4. Alot of people fail to realize the fact that if we don't go to the games, the product is not going to improve. So if you're a real fan and you want to see the Sox go out and get some quality players, you will go to the games and support your team no matter what.
  5. I'm sorry, we're all fellow sox fans, we should all get along and be friendly to eachother. But anthrax has so many arguments that have no credibility, and when another poster disagrees he refuses to see their point. It's like talking with a 13 year old kid who thinks they know the world when they really don't know s***. One again, I apologize, but thank you for letting me vent :puke
  6. He didnt draft Borchard either shmuck
  7. No way game number one counts as much as one sixty two. If you start off 0-1 you still have 161 games left to reconcile. If it comes down to the last game and you lose, you go home.
  8. If the Sox signed Beltran there would be no more money left to fill other holes.
  9. I don't see Bradley as a clubhouse cancer. He seems more like one of those guys who opponents hate, and teammates rally around. I'm all for bringing Bradley to the south side, especially with strong black leadership, Thomas, Everett, Baines. However, you can't fill one hole by creating another.
  10. Realistically, I think we're looking at something like this: 1.Garcia 2.Buerhle 3.Clement/Perez 4.Contreras 5.Garland C.Takatsu S.Nelson S.Marte M.Politte M.Cotts L.Diaz CF Rowand 2B Polanco/Walker LF Lee DH Thomas 1B Konerko RF Everett SS Uribe C Davis 3B Crede Bench Harris Gload Burke Escobar Perez
  11. HR BB K/9 WHIP BAA ERA Clement 23 77 9.45 1.28 .229 3.68 Lowe 15 71 5.17 1.61 .299 5.42
  12. Walker's not going to want to platoon with anyone. He seemed pretty upset about having to share time with Grudz on the northside.
  13. Is it just me, or does it seem like this guy is the turd in the toilet that won't flush :dips*** not you wharris...
  14. Boy do I feel like a dumbass, but who is the White Sox majority owner?
  15. HAROLD BAINES!
  16. RJ

We gave up Frankie Fransisco, the headcase.
  17. got ya, my bad
  18. What does that have to do with anyone wanting Grilli?
  19. I don't really think it's a good idea for us to aquire Johnson and send him to the Yankees. If we're trying to win a pennant, having RJ to compete with in the playoffs aren't the odds i'd like to face. If we make the playoffs... If we can't get him, keep him in the NL.
  20. Collusion: secret agreement or cooperation especially for an illegal or deceitful purpose In order for it to be collusion, all or most of the owners would have to be in cahoots to thwart Boras. Just because Kenny says that his players are overrpriced doesn't mean anything of the sort, and even if other owners don't wish to deal with Boras, it still doesn't mean collusion. There will always be suitors for Boras's players, by driving up his asking price, he's just weeding out those who aren't serious about spending money.

I know that the Sox have already said they're probably going to stick with Crede at third, but is there any chance that Bill Mueller will come back to Chicago. It seems like he's a perfect Ozzieball player, while he doesn't have speed, he constantly puts the ball in play and is an ideal hitter for the hit and run. I think he'd be a great fit with this offense, and not at 10+ million dollars, should Boston decide not to re-up him
  23. 500,000 times better than Robbie Alomar.
  24. I think maybe part of the reason that the Sox keep losing every year is because, all of the so-called loyal fans give up on them. Sure, you can say it's over, but isn't it better to say that you still believe and that there is a chance. Until their mathematically out of it, there's a chance. Do you believe in miracles?
