  1. If he's not willing to stay for 8 figures, I really don't think he does.
  2. Which two pitching prospects do you think will end up going with Maggs for Nomar and Williamson? Does anyone think they'll have to give a top prospect like Pachecho or Diaz?

The six fingered man? You're kidding right?
  4. Mussina Vasquez Pettitte Lieber Brown The Sox still can't beat the Yankees
  5. Isn't Daubach locked up for another year?
  6. Justice prevailed in the AL??? Ludacris... the fact that A-Rod won the AL MVP is the biggest load of crap since the huge dump I took before I heard the news... A player on a last place team has no rite to an MVP award. Nuff said.
  7. I shouldn't say alot better, there number are pretty close from last year. But I feel that Ligtenberg has better stuff and a better makeup as a setup man for whomever the Sox choose for their closer.
  8. And a good one... alot better than Baez.
  9. I don't know too many righties that can hit him well either... Wunsch for president!
  10. And to think the Sox never signed him when the drafted him.
  11. They're not as stupid as we were to give him away.
  12. Did you know Rockies fans used to call Jiminez, Jizz... I'd take a chance on a guy named Jizz...
  13. I could be the next Loaiza... Why don't the Sox take a chance on me?
  14. I think this is all just one big joke... I just wish I found it funny...
  15. And Charlie Hough will be the fifth starter...
  16. Are you talking about Jose?
  17. Foulke has proven to Sox fans, as well as A's fans, that he can't close big games. I for one don't want to see Foulke back in a Sox uniform. If the Sox don't end up keeping Koch, I'm sure that since Ozzie is buddy buddy with Uggy Urbina we might be able to bring him here for a reduced price. Ideally, I'd like to keep Koch, because I think he's going to rebound this year. Then again, no one's gonna know until ST.
  18. *dreaming* Maybe Sandy will retire and take Man Soo's old job so we can sign Pudge. *dreaming*
  19. A miracle... Look at the job he's done for Milwaulkee!
  20. "The Chicago White Sox did not renew the contract of bullpen catcher Man Soo Lee, who once held the Korean League home run record and had been the bullpen catcher since 2000." We hardly knew you...
  21. Alomar came to the Sox at the expense of Royce Ring, but what did he really bring to the Sox in the long run? He brought an enormous upgrade of Jiminez in the defensive department and provided much needed veteran leadership. Sure, veteran leadership and defense are a plus, but does he really have the rest of the tools to merit a starting position in 2004? He hit 253 with an OBP of 330, not too hot for a leadoff/second hole type guy. I do believe the Sox should bring him back for the 2004 season, because his leadership and intagibles are valuable to the team, but they don't complete the role of a starter. The Sox need to find a 2nd baseman like Vina or Castillo and put Alomar in the background.

Yeah, I think he should get that Eric Gagne stuff too. I think Frank Thomas should get some of that Mike Squires fielding stuff, and while we're at it, get Jose Valentin some of that A-Rod stuff. Speaking of Gagne remember the Bob Howry for Gagne rumors of once upon a time? Too bad Evans wasn't quite that dumb. Too bad the Sox didn't sign Gagne when the drafted him.
