I'm so glad I wasn't able to get playoff tickets today. What a waste of money that would have been.

Ridiculous...i was able to get in at 12 exactly and my search for 4 tix came up with "none available".

I've been trying very hard to stay positive lately but I can't help but to feel that this team will inevitably let me down. Aside from a few small stretches where we beat up on some mediocre teams, the Sox have looked very beatable since the A's series right before the All Star Break. As much as I try to forget about the uninspiring last couple of months in 2000 this just seems like deja vu. I hope they prove me wrong but I don't have a ton of confidence in this team right now. I'm not trying to be mr negative. Just sharing my feelings. I still love this team.

Back-to-back lousy performances by our supposed best 2 pitchers. I guess we can find room for McCarthy since Jon and Mark's Cy Young chances are slipping away fast. Give them some rest.

I'm glad I missed most of this game. I think I'll miss the rest of it while I'm at it.
