As of right now Boston, NY and Cleveland are all tied with the same record. We are 2 games ahead of all 3. only 2 of the 4 teams make the playoffs. We are fortunate enought to have a 2 game cushion but I hope we play with some urgency as if we were down 2 games.

For the love of God can we just get this thing over with?! This is the Tigers for crying out loud.

Although I'm not the biggest Konerko fan, it would be tough to see us lose Ordonez, Lee, Konerko and possibly Thomas within a 2 year span. As bad as we complain about our offense now can you imagine how woeful it could be next year?

This whole incident is about 6 weeks too late if you ask me. It's too bad we have to have club house problems with 10 games or so left in the season.
