  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 8, 2008 -> 04:28 PM) Opened the window and a breeze rolled in... jizz in my pants! That was one hilarious video.
  2. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 8, 2008 -> 01:30 PM) More steals, fewer walks, several years older (and less chance of developing further), I'd say less power. Maybe I need to look up his stats but "BA" and "walk" don't go together from what I recall.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 8, 2008 -> 11:08 AM) What's your screen size? 46"
  4. QUOTE (1399 @ Dec 8, 2008 -> 02:45 AM) Class is over rated but I would agree that Im despicable and so was the production of the 4-7 batters in the order which is the point here. I watched every game and saw Dye as well as the rest of the middle of the order leave runner after runner stranded on base. The .210 average was with two and thats my mistake for not pointing that out. At least you understood what I was getting at. The .269 with less than two out isnt much better and below league average. With guys like OC and Carlos getting on base Dye should have easily led the team in RBI and didnt despite Carlos missing almost the entire month of Septemeber. Call it what you want and make any excuse you want but I call call it flat out pathetic. One more thing. It's not what you hit but when you hit it. Dye didnt hit much when the Sox really needed him to and thats the point. If this rumor is true he will NOT be missed. Fantastic analysis. You should start a blog.
  5. QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 7, 2008 -> 09:00 PM) Then yeah, you will most definitely see the difference in quality, it'll be substantial. You won't get max quality out of it without it being on HDMI and in 1080p, but really unless your TV is like 52 inches and you're a really big geek, it probably won't matter to you. Thanks. That helped me decide on picking up the Dark Night Blu-Ray. And yes a I am hooked up via HDMI.
  6. QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 7, 2008 -> 08:51 PM) The difference between what? Blu-Ray and SD-DVD? No, you'll notice the difference. Blu-Ray and HD-DVD you probably won't notice at all, and you definitely wouldn't notice on a 1080i TV, which is why I thought the format wars were absurd with the way the fanboys handled themselves (especially the Blu-Ray ones). Yeah I meant Blu-Ray vs SD-DVD.
  7. PS3 question: Do I need a 1080p television to be able to see the difference in blu ray movies? My TV is 1080i.
  8. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 7, 2008 -> 07:48 PM) 2.) If they do not make any big acquisitions with the money they've already cut, then I will not go to a single game next season. Ditto
  9. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 6, 2008 -> 08:00 PM) I think I'm the only person my age who basically doesn't like any new stuff. I like something around 1 in 100 of the new songs I hear. I didn't realize you were 48 years old.
  10. Finally picked up GZA'a "Pro Tools". Very solid.
  11. First techno show I've been to in ages, Saw Mistress Barbara at Smart Bar. Pretty good set. Technically flawless but track selection was about a 7 out of 10. Was impressed that she actually spun 100% vinyl.
  12. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Dec 5, 2008 -> 01:13 PM) Speaking of music games, I really hope this Rock Band, Guitar hero craze ends soon. Those games are so stupid. Fun for about a day maybe. Guess you won't be buying this.
  13. And I wouldn't be so sure that the Big 3 would be able to continue to operate while bankrupt.
  14. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 5, 2008 -> 12:00 PM) I'm sure some people fear that. I'm also sure that the moment a Big 3 company goes bankrupt (assuming they intend to continue operating), they will immediately announce that all warranties are still honored. You may believe that but I'd assume someone in the market for a new vehicle right might not be so optimistic about something like that.
  15. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 5, 2008 -> 11:50 AM) There is a near-zero chance that an auto company will stop honoring warranties for existing owners. That would be suicide. If they plan to keep operating, you can bet they'd honor warranties. I think that's why people are hesitating to buy from the Big 3. They're scared their warranty will be useless if the company goes out of business 2 months after they purchase the car.
  16. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Dec 5, 2008 -> 10:37 AM) yesterday I stared at the griffin itrip Ipod car dock all day long(13.97), but I couldnt justify buying it for myself until I finished all of my christmas shopping. Enter the following code to get $5 off: SAVE5
  17. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 10:09 AM) I found a neat Black Friday-esque website called yugster.com (yug= yours until gone) Every day they run a deal for about 6 different items until the stock is gone. Sometimes its watches, sometimes tvs, sometimes laptop items, sometimes little tools. Its never the same thing Just bought the db Clay wallets for a couple of co-workers...and myself.
  18. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Dec 4, 2008 -> 09:32 PM) Who are the worst franchises in sports? 1. Raiders 2. Nationals 3. Thrashers 3b. Panthers How could you not have the Lions #1? At least the Raiders have a history of good franchises and won 3 Super Bowls.

    QUOTE (Kalapse @ Dec 4, 2008 -> 02:51 PM) The last half hour or so was a complete joke, talk about dragging I thought it would never end. The actor who played Augie (McLovin) was just awful, not funny at all. Agree that he was not funny. The other kid wasn't all that funny either. Having a little kid drop f-bombs might automatically make some people laugh but I need a little better writing to do it for me. I thought Rudd's character was pretty funny though. Seann William Scott played the exact same guy he has played in everything he's been in.
  22. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Dec 4, 2008 -> 02:46 PM) Best TV show I've ever seen. I've probably watched each episode at least 5 times and I still laugh uncontrollably each time I see them, it has incredible replay value. Sometimes I find myself jonesing for a specific episode, usually "Pier Pressure." The Hot Cops are about as good as it gets. They used to show reruns on HDNet a while back. If I happened to stumble upon an episode I'd yell out to my wife and she'd drop whatever she was doing to watch it with me.
