  1. QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 12:10 PM) Have you ever asked a plant? VEGETABLE RIGHTS MAN! I converse with my bamboo plant every day. Based on its incoherent responses I am led to believe it has no brain.
  2. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 12:39 PM) I think PETA reps should all realize that plants are living organisms as well, and therefore PETA people should stop eating anything and everything until they all die happy Plants do not have a central nervous system nor a brain. They do not feel pain.
  3. Lets see if all the conservatives on this site raise as much flack about this as they did for John Edwards' $400 haircut. Somehow I doubt it.
  4. It's mind boggling the way they are handling her. What a slap in the face to the people of this country that deserve to hear what her views are.
  5. And Griffey in CF is still a terrible idea.
  6. Wicker Park and Bucktown are fun and safe areas for younger folks.
  7. I'd think the Dems would have noticed that Uribe has been looking a lot better at 3rd this year.
  8. This team does not look like a playoff contender. Not even close. We'd be lucky to win one game if we got in.
  9. My plane lands at 7:18pm in Kansas City tonight. I'm hoping when I check the score on my phone after we land that it'll still be the top of the 1st and we're up 8-0.
  10. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 01:10 PM) 10,000! Nice. You're a big loser like me now.
  11. QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 11:42 AM) I haven't read this thread. How far back is it? see posts 1591 and 1592
  12. One sunny day in 2009 an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue , where he'd been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Bush. The Marine looked at the man and said, "Sir, Mr. Bush is no longer president and no longer resides here." The old man said, "Okay" and walked away. The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Bush. "The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Bush is no longer president and no longer resides here." The man thanked him and, again, just walked away. The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same U. S. Marine, saying "I would like to go in and meet with President Bush. "The Marine, somewhat agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Bush. I've told you already that Mr. Bush is no longer the president and no longer resides here. Don't you understand? "The old man looked at the Marine and said, "Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it." The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow."
  13. Huh? He's from Africa but he's not African American. This guy back on the pills?
  14. So if another parent's kid had their son wear a shirt of a graphic gang bang to school would Daxx's dad think it was ok? Freedom of speech!
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 02:49 PM) Well, our magic number would then be 1, which would mean that we'd have "Clinched at least a tie". Didn't they do some sort of coin flip thing for ties? How did that turn out and what did it mean?
  16. Another example of Obama being an elitist and McCain being like one of us.
