  1. QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 06:14 PM) Its halfway to equality, but its not equality. ^^^^^ I miss my Kucinich.
  2. Frank is slowly becoming my new favorite character.
  3. there's a generic Propecia out there? Why am I paying out the ass for the name brand?!?
  4. Sorry to hijack the thread but what about Obama's civil union stance do you oppose?
  5. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 12:48 PM) I agree. The first episode basically sucked, and the second one was ok. I'm sure they'll get better. Charlie acting like someone from Texas has pretty damn funny.
  6. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 01:43 PM) As I've made clear several times, I consider myself an independent because I tend to have far right "morals", but leftist economic and fiscal policies. So with that being said, I disagree with Obama on abortion, gay marriage (he calls them "civil unions"), and some others (I am drawing a black mind right now). Do you agree with his far left "morals" that poor people should be helped out and people who can't afford health insurance should be provided care?
  7. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 12:19 PM) For Obama I wish he addressed factory farming somehow like John Edwards did. Abhorrent abuse of animals aside, the amount of greenhouse gasses produced by these places are worse than the output of vehicles. I also would like to hear more discussion on public transportation but who am I kidding. Which Presidential candidate would ever make that part of their core issues? Like I really had to mention who my candidate is.
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 12:21 PM) I just feel like both of those issues are usually in state debates. In case you didn't know I am a vegan for 2 years now. One of the reasons I made the switch was for the environment. The fact that factory farms are completely ignored when greenhouse gas conversation is brought up really bothers me. It's one of the things that drive me nuts when I hear Al Gore speak. It's not even a factor in his discussion.

  10. QUOTE (Yoda @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 03:18 PM) Perhaps my expectations for that show are way too high but I wasn't as thrilled with the 2 episodes last night as much as I wanted to be. They definitely had some laugh out loud moments though. The gorilla mask had me rolling.
  11. For those that care about the national polls today's Gallup Poll has Obama 49% and McCain 44%.
  12. It's lines like these that will keep Obama ahead of McCain. Ouch.
  13. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 10:33 AM) I guess it depends, huh? But a lot, I have to figure. For all of your complaining that Obama would socialize this country it's hard to argue that the current GOP administration hasn't already done that.
  14. What was that? 50 pitches for Javy in the 1st? Jeez.
  15. I love Jon Stewart:
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 01:56 PM) Why not, I get to read everyday about all of McCains missteps of the same vein. Has it stopped you and AHB from doing the exact samething? So you are equating a campaign misstep with deciding not to have an actress with a terrible reputation be a voice for your campaign?
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 12:53 PM) Actually it isn't even outrage. Its just a statement. There are much better things to be outraged about. Obama turning his back on more people doesn't really surprise me anymore. Right. And I'm sure if his campaign decided to have Lohan in the forefront you'd complain that she is a terrible example to children across America and he has poor family values and judgment.
  18. And spare the fake outrage. This is very petty even for you.
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 12:43 PM) Using something he did as a reason? That's pretty two faced. Do you have an exact quote as to what the Obama campaign told her?
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 01:37 PM) The same Barack Obama who admitted to expirementing with Cocaine and Marijuana is turning down Lohan because of her wild ways? Wow. You're seriously surprised the Obama campaign would like to steer clear from Lindsey Lohan? GMAB

Watcher "Dancer in the Dark" a few nights ago with my wife. What an excellent but depressing movie. Bjork was fantastic.
  22. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 12:39 PM) Always a fan favorite. Truly, the best and greatest Sox player ever. ^^^^^^
  23. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 09:32 AM) I dont think this has been posted yet: Except it was mentioned in the post right before yours.
