we scored first....hold on fellas....

a little rain can only help the whitesox today. it will take the crowd out of the game and could get us to the shabby piece of jackcheese bosox bullpen. the only thing hitting the monster harder than us today should be the rain...

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 08:56 AM) I have seen Freddy show emotion on the mound. When he gets an important strikeout he swings his arm and glares while he is walking off the mound. I dont know what you expect from Freddy. Should he pump his fist every out? Maybe he should argue with the umpire when he misses a call. He is hardly a statue. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well if you have witnessed this then i am proved wrong. i hope to see that same kind of "you aint beating me asshole" attitude that is necessary to win the big games that i personally haven't seen from him. i do know that the seattle fans came to a standing ovation when he left the game after being rocked over there. they are great fans so i must be missing the boat on FG. for sure all of seattle will be rooting like mad for the whitesox to do well!

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 05:18 AM) You see, I completely disagree with this. Why should he go out there and be yelling and jumping around on the mound? I hate it when I see a guy like Carlos Zambrano going crazy out there, I really don't want to see Garcia do it. The best thing I can see from a pitcher is like what we get from Garland, when he struck out Tejada earlier in the year, possibly the biggest pitch of the year for him, all he did was walk off the mound and go into the dugout, he was totally calm and showed nothing. He obviously cares about the game but he doesn't have to show it by screaming and fist pumping. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So i guess you didn't like Pete Rose? You know there is a way to show your edge without showing up the other team....I just have never seen the intensity from FG and am anxiously awaiting to see it! Did you see Ozzie jump off the bench after gooch went yard? what should he have done? sat there and act stoic? this is a game of emotion and having fun. dont be a statue on the mound. roger clemens & nolan ryan both had that obvious edge that i am talking about. of course i will take a win anyway possible and respect your opinion alot....

thank you tony! you are the sole reason we won today! finally we are getting the breaks....revenge for 2 strike seasons are unleashing special powers against the world for us! i hope that the other team just keeps giving it to us. i mean 27 years of everyday listening or watching to this team in another city & state is WAY TO FREAKING COOL ABOUT NOW! THANK YOU INTERNET!

freddie is too composed for my liking. i would like to see more emotion out of him before i start to really embrace him. he is given major opportunity to show us what his character as a competitor is. i hope he goes to the hill with major chip on shoulder & big time edge to kick the BOSOX booties!

Ozzie is all about defining roles and giving his players confidence to finish and support & divert attention away from players that struggle. HE MUST GET MAJOR KUDOS for developing this managerial pyschology. remember Jerry Manuel? taking pitchers out to protect em? kicking dirt on the umpire when we were either 9 runs ahead or behind? sitting in the dugout when he needed to charge out? he had no clue on the pysch part of managing. KW & OZZIE have proven themselves to me to be TRUE whitesox!

we all know that MB gets tired late in the season and late in games late in the season. he took the ball, should have lost, but you know he is a competitive mo that kept going like no other. I AM VERY PROUD OF WHAT HE STANDS FOR IN A WHITESOX UNI! MORE OF MB & LESS OF THEM!

AND THATS A MOTHER F'IN WHITE SOX WINNER!

QUOTE(G&T @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 08:38 PM) I would like to thank Wells for throwing consecutive curveballs for the first time all night to Iguchi. The first one gave him the timing, and the second one hung all the way to the seats. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> gooch was pissed at himself for not swingin at the first one. he delivered on the next one. blame that one on the catch for not catching that one? get it? sorry.... -

2 compelling reasons we will win 5-4. they have more errors. and the over/under in this game is 9 and the guy with the over ticket isn't going to win.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 06:13 PM) I always had it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i will stick up for marte...to me the only questionable link is hermy. and that isn't even fair the way he has shoved it up the opps booty! marte has good movement and i like that against fastball hittin teams like bos ny & ana

QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 06:10 PM) I couldn't be more serious, but I think Ozzie will consider using Duque as the closer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well i couldn't agree with you more! hopefully it isn't hermy...my god we will all die before it is over!
