  1. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 07:13 PM) Now its freedom of the press. Thats a total cop out if I ever heard one. Anti-Christian is a better way to look at it and Hypocrasy is the optimal word to use here. first key to socialist propaganda: it's not what stories the news covers, it's the ones the news ignores.
  2. what exactly is going on in those pictures? did someone throw a dead animal on her or somethin?
  3. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 12:30 PM) Yep, was thinking about that the other day haha. i was too MVP is a great game, i might just manually type the players names in.
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 06:02 PM) For those who wondered, or didn't see the whole story... The poll meant nothing. There was never any intent to do anything with the results of the poll. He wasn't getting banned even if it was unanimous. The whole point was to prove that all of those millions of posts telling people that something was wrong with them for not agreeing with Juggernaut were a complete trojan horse. There was absolultely nothing of substance to them, because he himself didn't believe them. We are all told repeatedly that freedom of speech and majority rule are the backbones of our society, and those who do not believe in them are somekind of Godless lowlifes. I simply gave Juggernaut a chance to prove that even in an adverse form that he would adhere to both of those principles. Its easy to say that stuff when things are easy, not so much so when it is working against you. Instead of standing up for his beliefs, he said nothing. That's all I need to know, and when he starts to preach to people in the future like they are some lesser lifeform, now you all know the truth, not through his words, but through his actions... or rather inactions. i think you wanted to ban him
  5. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 04:01 PM) Dont beg, Theo. It is very unbecoming of a young upstanding man in a giant ape suit. haha, thats great

  8. QUOTE(jasonxctf @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 04:10 PM) She deplored the terror inflicted by our smart bombs on missions way afar. lol but those same bombs were just fine when Clinton was dropping them in Europe for no reason (well, besides drawing attention away from his own scandals).

  12. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 04:42 PM) The problem is that isn't nearly as simplistic as you make it out to be. ANY dipicition of the Prophet is forbidden by Islam, as they forbid any idolitry, and they feel that to prevent this, you have to prevent his image from being shown. And on top it, some of the cartoons were as insulting as any of the worst sterotypes that you can image for any ethic group. Think of the caractures of the slanty eyed Asian, the gangster Italian, the Tonto Indian, the black charactures during the 19th century, etc. It isn't as simple as being JUST a cartoon. This is a combination of two mortal sins of idolitry and blasphemy. I hope you aren't supporting their actions. If you are, would you support Catholics attempting to burn down New York if an art dislpay decided to, oh I don't know, put a cross in a bucket of urine? There is a big difference between having a peaceful protest of something you disagree with rather than using violence to force your will on others. I really don't care if these cartoons offend people, I fully support the freedom of press and speech even if it offends people. If a newspaper or magazine prints material you find offensive I suggest you do not purchase or support them in any way.

  14. QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 11:21 AM) I know Apple settled a class action suit over the battery last year. Some of the batteries over a certain span were crappy and would wear out a lot quicker than they were suppose to. People got money for a new battery, but I think the opportunity to register for that is over. Apple refused to replace the batteries for less than like $200 bucks or something at first, then they got hit by a big old lawsuit and were forced to pay up.
  15. QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 11:07 PM) What right did they infirnge? the God given right to attend the State of the Union address
  16. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 12:30 AM) This is really very little to do with religion, and more to do with government. the whole basis of this is religion.
  17. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 10:30 PM) Then why extend the arm and touch the defender if it would have had no effect? Basically you are saying the Seattle receiver is an idiot. There was clearly contact which helped keep the defender moving in the wrong direction, and helped the receiver stop. Was it needed contact? Not at all, as i think he clearly had him beat no matter what. i thought the contact was incidental bad call IMO
  18. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 08:51 PM) Congrats Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers, helluva run yup
  19. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 08:41 PM) haha, you're one dense kid
  20. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 08:39 PM) Dude. It is a football game. I can care less about either team. :sleep If you are old enough, go get another beer and chill. lol you're the only one being a spaz
  21. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 08:36 PM) If I am a baby, will you wipe my ass for me? no, try asking your mommy
  22. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 08:29 PM) It's not about being somebody, it's about people outside of Pittsburgh giving a dam. The 49ers, Cowboys, as much as I hated them, weren't dropping passes, pissing on themselves, or scoring 10 at the half. Incidently, if the bear were playing, the game would be, Pitt 37 Bears 10 right now. it's obvious you wanted Seattle to win and your team is losing so you have decided to be a baby about it.
  23. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 08:25 PM) Not so much bitter about the teams out of jealousy as disappointment. This is like seeing the Marlins v. Blue Jays in the World Series. The officiating has been Terrible lol, you're right... the Steelers are such a nobody team
