In the end, it was Kevin Smith trying to rip off a Judd Apatow film casting the actors he uses often. It's enjoyable, and has some laugh-out-loud moments, but in the end is a movie I won't want to see a second time. I don't believe Kevin Smith's story that the MPAA to tried to give this film an NC-17 rating, and unedited he managed to get them to change it to an R rating. There was no reason for it to be rated NC-17. Jason Mewes (Jay of Jay and Silent Bob), is ho-hum in this one as well. That's all I've got. It's NOT a f***ing date movie though. Unless you want your date pissed at you for a few hours afterwards.
