  1. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Oct 22, 2008 -> 08:56 PM) Prison Break, although I watch every week religiously, is getting...well bad. Too many convoluted plotlines and the show seems like it just keeps getting more crazy. I was a devoted fan for the first three seasons (up until the break out from the Mexican prison, or was that season 4)?? I absolutely adored that show the first two seasons, and stayed because I could as long as possible. It got really bad last year, and this year, I said "f*** it".

    QUOTE (Kalapse @ Oct 26, 2008 -> 06:52 PM) I know I really shouldn't but I've always liked Pitt. Why? Everyone pretty much hopped on that bandwagon who wasn't already on it after Fight Club. There's not many people out there who don't like Pitt... You should see "The Mexican", an underrated movie.

    Just a heads up for those not clicking the link, GOB's baby also happens to be Amy Poehler's baby, so he officially has the funniest parents in the history of the world.
  5. Hawks are supposedly after Sundin, and the Avalanche supposedly want Khabby. link
  6. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 26, 2008 -> 01:13 AM) Others bad: Buff (am I the only one that never bought into him?), Sopel, Hendry. No, you're not. He lacks a lot of NHL skills. We'll see where he ends up though. I'm really getting irritated that we signed another goalie for big money only to not play him. I know we're trying to build trade value, but come on!

    I don't think people are ever going to learn that this guy has about 1 year left in baseball, if that.
  8. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 01:35 PM) So I guess the B is backwards because dumbass scratched it into her face while she was looking in the mirror. That's hilarious.
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 23, 2008 -> 02:45 PM) Pfft. Some Obama fan you are staying at home. Just look at his screenname and you shouldn't be shocked.
  10. QUOTE (Soxy @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 02:00 PM) In order: 1.) Snakes 2.) Spiders 3.) Birds 4.) Milli/Centipedes 1) Eels 2) anything else. I don't f*** with Eels.
  11. QUOTE (Cknolls @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 10:30 AM) Yesterday we noted the Obama's campaign's acceptance of credit card contributions made via the Internet under false names and addresses in "Who is John Galt?" Many readers wrote to confirm the experiment conducted by our reader under the names John Galt, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and Bill Ayers at obviously phony addresses. This is quite interesting...
  12. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Oct 23, 2008 -> 06:41 PM) Only if Stiles is driving...and in werewolf form... I love a good Teen Wolf reference.

    QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 23, 2008 -> 10:15 PM) If I had a time traveling DeLorean I would set my destination time for February 4th, 2009 and hit that sh*t to 88 mph! There's a lot of things I'd do with a time machine, but watching Lost would not be one of them.

    The stances and swings are accurate in 2k8, and the Cell is pretty realistic. However, from that point on, the game is just terrible. The pitching is kind of neat, but there's still too many homeruns, fielders are too accurate on their throws, and you don't have as much control over your players as you would like. If I had PS3 (XBOX owner), I'd adore a chance to play the show. I've played it a few times and it's hands down a better baseball game.
  16. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Oct 22, 2008 -> 04:20 PM) Can anyone do me a solid and link me to where i can get Favre's updated stats for Madden 09? You can probably just figure it out yourself. Slide down arm strength, mobility, etc... or you can just download the online roster. Try to put him right around 86-88.

  18. The more Rose is on the court, the less chance he has to think about buying a motorcycle.
  19. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 11:23 PM) You might enjoy this http://www.themessenjah.net/nba2k/ I've been there. I had Jordan in 2k8 because of him.
  20. Wow, that was incredible. I told my buddy tonight I think Rose is already a top 5 PG in the NBA. I may have been stretching it, but he was unstoppable tonight.
  21. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 12:14 PM) Please elaborate.......... I was considering buying the game, but I was disappointed with last years model. Although, I did play it this weekend and switched the game speed setting to 100 and it was a lot more enjoyable. I just have such a hard time doing all the moves, etc. without running into other players and so on. Well, this year's game has a full tutorial. Yeah, there's a learning curve because it's not just turbo dunk, but it's pretty amazing. The game actually plays at a faster pace (the pace I adjusted 2k8 to)... They finally adjusted so the players play like they should. Not just a bunch of players who take shots when they get a chance... the ball actually cycles through the point guard or main ball handlers, and the stars of the teams are the ones that kick your ass. It's real. D-Rose is awesome, by the way... they made him look so real. Now if only the Bulls had someone who could finish at the rim. Seriously, it's the best sports game I've ever played.
  22. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 01:12 PM) Yo, Steve. Was this meant as a joke? (About politicos' wives, I mean). Of course, dude.
  23. All because I didn't think green was necessary.
  24. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 11:50 AM) I'm kind of embarassed to admit this--and it wouldn't make a difference in how I voted in the least--but something about Cindy McCain really makes my skin crawl. Maybe I can't get past an unfounded, rich/Barbie-doll/trophy-second wife stereotype, and that's unfair. I wasn't much of a fan of Nancy Reagan or Tipper Gore either, and Michelle Obama's "proud of her country for the first time" remark was classically stupid, but I really can't wait for this woman to go away. Maybe its the way the McCain camp has cast her as a hypocritical, media-attack dog that is unfair. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/...ia-viciousness/ So what I gather from your post is you hate women who are with politicians?
