QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 30, 2013 -> 12:15 PM) I love these two posts back to back. I think, bottomline, if you are counting on Garcon or Bowe to be anything more than a WR3 - aka flex play - you are in trouble I would much rather have either than Fitzgerald this year. -

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Aug 30, 2013 -> 09:50 AM) But holy s*** your team would be even better if you had Roddy White (how the hell did he last until the end of round 4) or Larry Fitzgerald. Dwayne Bowe and Pierre Garcon, drafted much later, will be better than either this season. If the game were about drafting based solely on past performance it'd be easier to be as good as I am at it. /guywhocalledalfredmorris -
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 30, 2013 -> 11:13 AM) Just pledged to the Pressy kickstarter. Pretty neat little invention. Makes my decision to get the HTC One over the Moto X more tolerable as I really liked the double twist camera trick on the X. This seems even easier and I won't risk flinging my phone across the room. LINK (It's worth checking out the video) You are too f***ing obsessed with smartphones.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 30, 2013 -> 09:36 AM) Unless some jerk reaches even further than me, there is no way I'm not taking David Wilson on the turn at 12/13 Yeah - his stock just went up big-time. I'd still wait before pigeon-holing yourself. You could have Shady, MJD, Ray Rice, etc. -

Too many people get roped into "that's TOO EARLY" for so and so player - hell, I've done it. Then some assbag gets said player, or there's a run on the position, and all the sudden that's why we draft instead of just letting the Yahoo "experts" or 95% of grovelling fools who set ADP dictate when and where taking a player is too early. My team is stacked, because I had goals in mind and knew when I would be able to get guys I like. Sometimes, it's fun to not follow the drones. -

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Aug 30, 2013 -> 09:27 AM) Well, it is about what round you get guys in since he may have been there in Round 4 or 5. Plus, it's Ryan Mathews. He went 30-something to you when his average ADP is like 65. There's no chance in f*** all he was getting back to me at the end of round 5 (the best RB available at that point wound up being Chris Ivory). I knew I was taking Matt Stafford in round 4, because f*** if I wasn't getting Matt Stafford this year. http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1...86/draftresults It's about building a team, seeing what's available, and taking what you want. Ryan Mathews will be invaluable as a FLEX to me this year, and I knew I could stack up on wideouts I like later on anyway. Yes, I could have taken some turd like Andre Johnson, Wes Welker, or Larry Fitzgerald, or I could have done what I did, not lived in the past, and still wound up with studs later. -
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 30, 2013 -> 08:36 AM) seriously. No admission of guilt, and this pittance of a settlement(comparatively). They really did win this The NFL always wins.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 09:48 PM) Giant reach in round 3. Maybe he'll have more tds than broken collarbones this year... It's about building a team, not worrying about what round you get guys in - clearly I'm not lacking in any position. -
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Aug 30, 2013 -> 08:19 AM) I've wanted a new job for a few years now and today is my best opportunity to date. Have an initial phone interview with a company in Northern Indiana. I have a cousin whose aunt works in HR at the company and a co-worker of my stepmother is good friends with the guy I'm interviewing with. Good luck!

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 30, 2013 -> 08:18 AM) Well....she's hot. Yuck. She's got a pig nose and gained like 40 lbs in the house. She's anything but hot right now.
-
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 30, 2013 -> 08:03 AM) I feel bad for her, she totally grew up a bit while in that house, she was clearly sheltered. I don't feel bad for anyone who is 22 years old and thinks saying racist things is funny. Don't make excuses for her.
-
Aaryn probably doesn't realize that the boos and confrontation when leaving the house are just the tip of the iceberg. No idea she got fired from her job and that the world knows she's a racist and a bigot.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 06:48 PM) You said Mathews in your other post. Either way, eek. No, Run DMc was the other option. I have Mathews. He'll be great there. -
It's weird to not be wanting a new job anymore.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 02:47 PM) You missed my other post...but why? Mathews in the 3rd round as a flex? Wow. Would love to see who else was there at that point. Run DMC. I was determined to have a 3rd starting tailback. -

QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 01:55 PM) Ha, I'm sure you're happy to know that I'm in your heroes league. Though I feel much more confident in that league... Ryan White VJax S. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 01:56 PM) Does it have multiplayer offline franchise, thats all I want to know. Multiplayer, offline franchise? How many people do you have living with you?

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 01:53 PM) lies Not even close to a lie. I think of early NHL games in my youth and sometimes playing my Dad in Madden 94. NHL 94 first and foremost, though. It was all about Jeremy Roenick points.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 01:39 PM) So my chromecast order finally came in last night. Pretty sleek device with some potential, especially for $35. At this point it's basically a more convenient (i.e., wireless) way to play netflix or youtube on my bedroom TV, not a full-fledged phone/tablet-with-all-the apps-on-TV device. I got a 2nd one for travel purposes. It'd be great if they eventually get HBO GO, Sunday Ticket, and the DirecTV app on there. They also need to add support for casting mobile chrome content, not just desktop chrome content. I'm thinking it might make sense to grab these up now before pretty much every streaming app embraces it and they quadruple the price. Did you test it out with Netflix? How's the resolution? HD on a 10" tablet is quite a bit different from HD on a 46" television.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 01:39 PM) When you think of the phrase "E-A SPORTS: IT'S IN THE GAME" what is the first game that comes to mind? They've used it for virtually all of their sporting games at one point or another, but I bet close to 90% of people will say Madden. NHL 94.

This just makes me happy that I run a very good and competitive league, or else, what's the point? -
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 01:15 PM) As I've said I've really started to love this show but I thought it was pretty weak that they went back to a challenge that they've already done this season. Do they do that every season? All the time. Hell, we've already seen the oklahoma drill twice.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 12:54 PM) Yaaa I went a little overboard on 3 straight RBs and banking on Luck being there in the 7th. I went 3 straight RBs in a 12 teamer, you just made bad choices across the board there!
