QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 27, 2013 -> 10:39 PM) Hunter Pence hit the longest home run in the bigs this season, 476 feet. At Coors, but still a huge blast http://deadspin.com/watch-hunter-pence-hit...3-so-1212209908 Well, the steroids era is definitely in the past with 476 being numero uno.

But yeah, I masturbate to NBA highlights.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 12:31 PM) Do you masturbate to NBA highlights? Because I dream of women, and I masturbate to women. I have sex with my hot ass wife, like, a lot, so I don't really need to masturbate too often.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 12:20 PM) Yaaa, about that....I really wanted Luck but waited a little bit too long. I got caught up in this being my first PPR league so I went with 3 straight RBs who should be getting a lot of receptions. Then went with 2 WRs and a TE in the next 3. At that point it was between Dalton, Vick, and Eli. For whatever reason I went with Dalton. Here's my team that I'm now iffy about. QB- Cutler/Dalton RB1- McCoy RB2- CJ2k (a reach in the 2nd?) WR- Colston WR- James Jones TE- Vernon Davis Flex- Bush (for reference Sproles went in the 2nd) Flex- Redman D- Zona K- Crosby Bench- Josh Gordon, Eifert, Sudfeld, L. Bell, Broyles. Rivers is still available but would you really take him over Dalton or Cutler? That team sucks big fat penis. -
QUOTE (Jake @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 10:43 AM) Do they still make you do the QB vision or is that not the default setting anymore? I f***ing hated that, I quit playing when it was introduced. Yeah, I know you can turn it off. QB vision died the year after it was introduced, which was like Madden 06.

QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 11:09 AM) Took me a minute to realize Camila was yelling at Johnny. My God, that rack. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 11:34 AM) Jeyme's face is an entirely different color than the rest of her body. It's really strange. Those two are a messed up pair. I will post responses tomorrow night.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 05:29 PM) Randomly, or did you ask? Sounds like you didn't know it was coming, or maybe you wouldn't have looked to move? I just sat them down and said I needed "$X" or I was going to start looking, given my production at this joint. I felt all "f*ck you, pay me". They replied with "$X + $$$$ (like whoa $) + promotion". Now, I'm a happy camper. Time to knock the wife up to celebrate.

In the excited department, count me in as having wet dreams. For the second time this week I dreamt about Derrick Rose on the court. WTF is wrong with me. Anyway, he finished an alley oop and the camera zoomed in on his face afterwards and it was a legit "he's back and f***ing fine" feeling. Wish it were real.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 12:17 AM) I just had an epiphany. Jesse Pinkman is going to be killed on Sunday. The title of the episode is "Rabid Dog", and the phrase is "Rabid dogs get put down". Well, as we all saw the last episode end, Jesse is a rabid dog crazed with vengeance. I'm not sure if this means Walt kills him, or Todd, or Skyler, or anyone else, but I think Jesse gonna die. There is an episode titled "Problem Dog", which is a reference to Gus, who was then killed. I think they are using that title as a reference. I kind of hope I'm wrong. You have wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much time on your hands.

I played one game online last night - guy chose redskins (shocker, everybody wants RG3 online, apparently) I won 10-7, it was quite epic. I couldn't do s*** on the ground but Cutty cared and went like 22-27. He, of course, quit when I user-picked his dumbass with Peanut to end it. Somehow, so satisfying.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 29, 2013 -> 08:52 AM) People will gladly defend The Show or NBA2K year after year because they do cool things to improve the overall experience. Madden just doesn't do anything that creative anymore, and this is the second or third different time that they've tried to bring in old players to hype their product. The Ultimate Team is/was kind of a cool online feature, but after a certain point it's damn near impossible to field a competitive team because your starters are crap compared to other teams'. Eh, if you consider an entirely new physics engine, completely revamped running style and moves, brand-new read-option packages, and online modes out the yin yang nothing (among many other tweaks), then yeah, I guess nothing changed this year! MLB the Show has been largely the same game since 09, yet they don't get crushed. When you get games to this level of perfection, it's the tweaks that count. NBA 2k - I mean, I play this game every year. It's not that much different, and I'd say the year with CP3 on the cover (08) was the best-looking and most enjoyable of the group. Compare the changes that go into Madden, there's a f***ton this year, by the way, to the changes in either of the games you mention above, and you'll find them to likely be more. I mean, my God, MLB the Show? It's the same f***ing game every year.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 02:34 PM) Were you out of contract? I still have a month left and they keep telling me I have no more deals available but to call back next month. I'm going to ask for the moon - genie, sunday ticket, hbo/showtime free or reduced, etc. I've only been with them since January or so.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 02:31 PM) Im sorry you didnt like the system. I dont know why you feel like you need to insult me for liking it, either. I said I like giving you s***. Calm your balls.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 02:27 PM) LOL, what is this now? Why did WiiU make you so upset? It didnt'. The mistake that was the Wii purchase made me slightly annoyed until I got someone to give me $300 on Craigslist and turned that into a brand new PS3 that's been humming for 4 years since and plays state-of-the-art games. Then the WiiU came out and some goofy fools fell for the same joke. Nintendo needs to get in the act of just making their superb games (the few they bother with) and making them available on all platforms.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 02:14 PM) It's been a reboot since 2000. Same game.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 02:14 PM) Everyone should get the Amazon exclusive Madden - $100 bucks that includes Sunday Ticket and RedZone for "free" (or $40 instead of the $200+ it'll cost you if you're a DirecTV subscriber. I might not even play the game and still be happy with that purchase. Edit: Most of the reviews - IGN's boner for EA titles aside - are pretty harsh (Gamespot 6.0/10), mainly for being the same as last year. I really have to wonder how in the hell these reviewers have given any good scores for that game. It's been a reboot since 2000. Only on your tablet, phone, and pc. Sure you can run the HDMI, though. I just called DirecTV and said "gimme" and they gave me.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 12:35 PM) Adrian Peterson - Clear Cut #1 and Top 5 back - No argument there. Doug Martin - 2nd year RB - I'm weery LeSean McCoy - Usually is injured Marshawn Lynch - He's been a consistent top 5 back for the past 5 years Jamaal Charles - Came out of nowhere, already been injured Ray Rice - Only guy you can really make a case for given that he has no injury history and is multi-threat CJ Spiller - Fred Thomas Arian Foster - Oft Injured Trent Richardson - Got a lot of TDs, not that many yards Matt Forte - Michael Bush takes the TD Stevan Ridley - See my previous post on him. Any NE RB is never a good argument Alfred MOrris - I'll give you him because he was a workhorse, got the yards and TDs Maurice Jones-Drew - Downhill DeMarco Murray - What? As a Cowboys fan, I know he's not a good argument for fantasy FB. Heck, none have been since E. Smith. Look at his numbers Reggie Bush - Hell no Lamar Miller - What? Darren McFadden - Injury prone I'm guessing you aren't going to do very well this year. -
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 02:10 PM) The only reason I wanted Madden 13 was because I wanted to play with Mario Williams, and that ended quickly. This year, I just want to play with EJ. I think I'm better off holding my money because I'm still playing Madden 12 online. It's awesome with the Pats because I catch touchdowns with Hernandez and yell "MURDERAH" and it pisses people off. I needed Kyle Long in my video game. The Bears have lots of weapons this year. They'll be fun online.

QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 02:06 PM) When I was a kid I typically had a dozen or more tennis balls laying around somewhere. I would always find them at the park near my house. Some of the best times of my childhood were had by hitting them around my yard with a baseball bat or throwing them onto the sloped roof of my house and catching it. I don't think I used any of them to actually play tennis more than a few times in my whole life. And those times were always more fun than being stuck with a Wii U and hoping that magic would make it have new games to play on it.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 01:16 PM) So is it actually good this year, or is it good for the first 2 weeks and then s*** again like Madden 2013? Because I hated it on the demo and then your review made me buy it and I played it for maybe 10 hours and then shortly thereafter you declared it s***. Valid point. My review was of the demo - which you'd played so if you didn't like the demo (and thus did not agree with me) and bought it anyway - well you are stupid. Madden 25 is a pretty great football simulation. I need to spend a lot more time with it before I sign off on telling you to spend your last $60 on it instead of on cocaine.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 12:27 PM) LOL, I am pretty sure that dumbass is supposed to be Bill Well, then it's not very applicable. Also, the final frame is clearly a father killing himself and his daughter by careening down a mountain in a radio flyer (if it's supposed to be real life).

I love Bill Watterson, but his dumbass character in the above strip "pursues what makes him happy" and magically creates a family and pays bills after quitting his job and doing stupid s***.
