Duncan Keith needs to cut it out with the behind the back passes that turn into rush killers. -

QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ May 20, 2013 -> 09:13 PM) The Shaw goal? Seriously, what is the rule there? Why was that interference? It wasn't. Howard wasn't even touched. -

QUOTE (Knuckles @ May 20, 2013 -> 08:58 PM) So any of you hockey guys wanna give me a rundown on why this is happening? The refs took away a perfectly fair game tying goal. That sucks. -

Very unlikely trade rumor involving PK, JC, HS

QUOTE (Jillian Michaels' Abs @ May 20, 2013 -> 02:04 PM) I've heard that this trade is agreed upon in principal, pending a brain scan and psychological evaluation of the Diamondbacks GM. HA! -
QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ May 20, 2013 -> 02:35 PM) There are actually five players from those two teams that have appeared in an All-Star game (not counting Granger). But hey, the NBA is super-awesome right now, there's no way bums like that could make the All-Star game. burn

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 20, 2013 -> 12:37 PM) Looks likes Stalberg plays tonight. @TimSassone Handzus is playing tonight on second or fourth line. As for Carcillo he is the likely odd man out. #Blackhawks Any lineup without Carcillo is a good one. -
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 20, 2013 -> 02:17 PM) Zack Randolph doesnt count either in the J4L rankings? What about Marc Gasol? He's only the best center in the game right now.

LOL. The Diamondbacks have no reason to trade Goldschmidt - and after trading Justin Upton and watching him blow up, I'd imagine there'd be a revolt if they dealt off their highly productive young 1b. -

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 20, 2013 -> 09:36 AM) Please no more Carcillo and Handzus. Carcillo is worthless and Handzus is just too slow. Bring back Stalberg. I'd be shocked if we didn't see Stalberg in the lineup tonight. The Hawks need his speed out there. -
Star Trek Into Darkness was simply fantastic.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 16, 2013 -> 05:10 PM) Which is worse...rough estimates for alcohol processing by a normal body, or quoting John Mayer? I LOL'd. The latter. Clearly.
-
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 17, 2013 -> 02:57 PM) If I am interpreting what Steve says correctly, he is suggesting that Kevin Love is a girly manchild who needs a blanky to sleep at night and that, yes, in fact, I (as in wite) am a better low post defender. About right? Through Felix glasses, that's exactly how it reads.
-
Now Gronk needs back surgery. I'd have to start questioning whether this guy will ever be the monster he was two years ago again.
-
It's funny how I can knock Rose and his shooting percentage in a post (something that would normally give the great all-mighty Felix a hard on) and then also discuss Kevin Love's shooting percentage and suddenly I'm starting a flamewar on Kevin Love. Whatever. Dude loves to hate on Rose but can see no fault whatsoever in a player on the Wolves.
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ May 17, 2013 -> 02:11 PM) IDK what Steve was talking about with Love and Rose being inefficient together. Love put up near .600 TS before the injury last year. Although I will say I am a bit worried about how bad he was last year, injury or no injury. I don't know where I said anything about them being inefficient together. That's just a lot of shots with Rose and him combined at a low percentage.
-
QUOTE (Felix @ May 17, 2013 -> 01:37 PM) I haven't read any of the above posts, but... The Wolves are not shopping Kevin Love. Move on. EDIT: Just read a couple of them.. lol at the "efficiency concerns" with Love. Seriously, educate yourself on players before talking about them. Thanks! I believe the only concern was pairing two high-volume players who shoot well under 50%. Read posts before replying like a jerk. Thanks! Of course, nothing more is actually ever expected.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 17, 2013 -> 12:29 PM) On "Whether or not Love could be effective"...I'll defer to the god-man that is coaching that team. If he thinks he'd be a good fit next to Rose, by the end of the year, he'd be a good fit next to Rose. This is pretty well stated, actually.
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ May 17, 2013 -> 12:14 PM) Not to mention Love played horribly last year. If he was injured the whole time, he probably shouldn't have played. Eh, throw last year out of the window. His hand was completely f***ed up in the few games he managed to play. However, the year before it's not like he was hitting 50% of his shots - and we know Rose doesn't shoot a high percentage. That said, with Love in tow, Rose could possibly improve his shooting percentage - if he decides he wants to get on the court, of course.
-
Thank you soxtalk for zero help, btw.
-
Then you have to decide if Kevin Love is the guy who takes you to the next level. I don't know that a low percentage big chucking threes fixes the needs of this roster. When healthy he does get to the line a lot, though, which is very nice. Rose and Love both shooting 41-44% on a f***ton of shots could be painful.

Well, the first trade Peavy to the Dodgers article is here

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 17, 2013 -> 11:51 AM) Except for the fact that there's a pretty decent chance that we'll be out of it by the deadline and if he keeps it up we could potentially get a ton of value in return for him. Yeah - there's actually nothing but REASONS to deal Peavy by the deadline.
