I want to know who the people were who were clamoring for more interleague?

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 09:44 AM) It's good that they recognize this and are getting out to get back into shape. It's dumb that they thought they'd be able to keep up with someone over a 20 mile bike ride. That's the same as me saying I'd be able to keep up with someone over a 5 mile run. We just didn't even think twice. To his credit, I was just emailing with my buddy and he said it was eye-opening and they want to do 10 miles with us next weekend.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 14, 2013 -> 02:31 PM) The playoffs can't get here soon enough... Agreed. -
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 09:09 AM) Trading up is almost always a bad deal and I think most teams know it. I think it's going to be hard for KC (or anybody else near the top) to find a taker. I don't think the Redskins regret trading up last year!

So the wife and I took a couple we know out on a bike ride yesterday. They aren't like huge or anything, just somewhat out of shape. We did our usual 20-miler - Prairie Path to Great Western Trail and back - seriously exactly 20 miles from our driveway. Holy crap, it's insane how out of shape people really are - given she and I are so active, the bike ride is seriously nothing. A ride that normally takes us an hour and forty minutes took two hours and fifty five minutes. They had to stop tons of times. My buddy had to walk the bike part of the way. His legs were dead. They were both completely f***ed after this effortless ride. It's nuts.

This thread is being started while I poop out last night's Jimmy John's. Much like the last four games - a poopy mess. Sale's got this, and my poo threads will bring us back to .500 and beyond. Lovingly signed, Steven

They are all grown buffoons paid millions to play a child's game and the MLB is getting tons of coverage because of this incident. Everyone wins except the morons getting into a big argument about it on soxtalk.com.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Apr 12, 2013 -> 12:21 PM) Way to go Reddy, your quinoa (pronounced keen-wa) obsession has led to skyrocketing prices, to the point of which the locals that once lived on the staple food can no longer afford to buy it. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/20...le-truth-quinoa "The appetite of countries such as ours for this grain has pushed up prices to such an extent that poorer people in Peru and Bolivia, for whom it was once a nourishing staple food, can no longer afford to eat it. Imported junk food is cheaper." So for you to be healthier, you're making poor people unhealthy. Good going you fruit baskets. Oh, I'm eating a side of quinoa for lunch today. Full disclosure. It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds. That's a cool story. I have some quinoa at the house - I should sell that s*** for profit.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 04:39 PM) I hate this as this had to be the year for Beckham to show he can hit enough to earn an extension from the White Sox. Really awful timing for him and the organization. Eh, he already had 4 years.
