  1. Meh. He started hot but finished with an OPS+ of 96.
  2. Oh yeah. We're loaded at SP so no need to have him up despite his getting injured in the bigs in a season where he was being paraded around for a few extra ticket sales
  3. Oh man. I just saw an image from Rise of Skywalker that has me PUMPED.
  4. Ok, White Sox. It's time to get a fucking plan together here. Not adding a SP was not an option. You don't miss on Wheeler and just say "fuck it" after signing a 31 year old catcher to the richest deal in team history. Also, the fact that that was the richest deal in team history shows we've been on the sidelines doing jack squat for far too long.
  5. Absolutely not. Have you looked at Arenado’s home/road splits?
  6. I gave up and installed chrome on my iPhone. Same timeframe.
  7. They gave the dude away. Wish we could’ve gotten a slice of that.
  8. Ok, so the White Sox are finally coming out of the haze led by a 24 year old 3B who just put up a 141 OPS+ and a 24 year old budding ace who just put up a 134 ERA+ with an 11.6 SO9, and you want to trade these men?
  9. Morton was already dominating for the Astros before he went to Tampa. HOUSTON fixed him first.
  10. If the White Sox pony up, take that dinosaur, and somehow land Andrew Benintendi... I will shit my pantaloons.
  11. Is there still any smoke here or has this bad boy died?
  12. After what Robert did last year- how can you say he’s still too raw?
  13. I can’t believe people a) even thinking that we’ll get Benintendi b) are so clueless as to not understand his immense value
  14. Arenado has a career .799 OPS away from Coors.
  15. His advanced statistics are nuts. He pitched almost as well last year as he did in his Cy Young season!
  16. oh thank god, fathom is here to bring some reality to the convo thank you
  17. I'd try like hell to keep Madrigal, but if it must happen it must happen.
  18. Jeez, I forget Sale was only 27 when he was dealt. Yeah, that's not very close. But I stand by Snell >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Quintana!
  19. My goodness. Soxtalk has really become something over the past few years. Moncada had big-league at bats and was the #1 prospect in all of baseball at time of the trade.
  20. We're in a handy dandy world where advanced statistics in baseball are so mature that we can see the truth behind the numbers. FIP is a much better representation of production than ERA. How are we still having this convo.
  21. Reading comprehension? The comparison was Snell to Quintana, yo.
  22. False. The guy had a 3.32 FIP last year with a 12.9 K/9
  23. Blake Snell is much more valuable than Quintana was when we dealt him. Snell is like getting Chris Sale locked up for his prime.
