  1. See, the moment you refer to Deion Branch as "pretty damn good" is the moment I start to ignore you.
  2. Braun was fantastic this year... good choice.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 01:27 PM) Ever since he just let Andrea off the hook for shooting Daryl I agree. He's been nothing but a bug-eyed b**** this entire season. I wish he'd get eaten.
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 01:26 PM) Its not only the system. A lot of TEs have come through that team before those two, and none of them have had the kind of success that both of them are having. Tom Brady loves to throw to them, but they are strong and both of them are fast for TEs, they make a lot of plays Belichick has built the system around them. Yes, they are talented and athletic, but they aren't the greatest TEs in football, and Gronkowski physically is no better than Greg Olsen. It's the system. Belichick has decided he wants to make a showcase of his TE's and that is what is happening. He decided years ago he wanted Brady to set the TD record, and it happened as well. I credit it all to Belichick, not some new wave, "oh my god the Pats somehow have the two best TE's in the game", theory.
  5. I predict being banned from AMC Lombard's IMAX for masturbating.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 12:47 PM) Snakebitten. After a long rehab for my torn meniscus, 2nd game back, f*** up my good knee. Sorry to hear that, Rock.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 10:40 AM) And he's right. Dale is one of the few decent characters on the show on top of that. Dale is terrible.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 01:17 PM) He is a beast, and so is Aaron Hernandez. They have quite a TE tandem system
  9. QUOTE (onedude @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 12:24 PM) he was celebrating his 31st birthday in Batman Begins. TDK was set a few months later.....so Batman is 39/40 in TDKR. This is quite fantastic.
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 10:42 AM) Yes, I am aware of the month of Movember. Crosby just looks like a 10-year old who taped two skinny strands of hair under his nose. Just admit you were clueless. It is ok.
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 10:40 AM) So I guess Batman's at least 35, could be pushing 40 depending on how old we think Bruce Wayne was in TDK. http://popwatch.ew.com/2011/11/21/dark-kni...ses-eight-year/ This should be quite epic and brings a pretty snazzy twist to the next and final Nolan Batman film. The more I think about this the cooler it becomes. From the teaser we hear Bruce Wayne's voice in a hospital with Gordon. It's very possible that he needs to go through recovery after getting completely f***ed up by Bane (maybe back broken, don't know). Time must move quicker.

  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 09:27 AM) Crosby really needs to shave that awful mustache. NHL much? Have you happened to notice that like 85% of the Blackhawks have terrible mustaches right now? Also, why are we feeding the zombies chicken? We've seen no evidence so far that the zombies just die for good if they don't have living flesh to eat.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 09:12 AM) lol. The subdivision has like 50 houses. Drive your car around and yell her name. If any walkers come after you, it's ok: YOU'RE IN A CAR. Nah, let's get out and explore ONE house. She's not here. As stupid as this s*** parade of a show is, does anyone think Shane did all that knowing the area was infested with zombies in order to teach Andrea how to shoot? Also, f*** Dale. Really, dude? You want this dude who continually saves your ass and puts his neck on the line to peace out because he f***ed Andrea? What is Dale's purpose? I f***ing abhor that guy. I did like Shane's little speech to him. It reminded me of Lucious Fox's speech to the guy who tried to blackmail Batman in The Dark Knight. But yes, the Walking Dead is stupid. Also, I like how Lori just happens to know the baby is Rick's. How convenient. I've always hated that b****... I was so happy when her head was in a box in Prison Break, and then they brought the character back to life explaining fake head. F*ck that actress, and f*ck the Walking Dead. Homeland was tits this week. It's feeling VERY 24 now (however, more realistic/believable). I hope they find some way to keep Brody around if they plan a 2nd season.
  16. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 09:12 PM) That Crosby guy is good. Awesome to have him back in the game. All you people who only label him a whiner can go away and don't appreciate a great hockey player. People who label him a whiner are just complete idiots. I've had the pleasure of meeting him (as a lowly Blackhawks intern his rookie year) and he took the time (among insane media coverage as he was practicing with Mario Lemieux at the time) to talk to a group of us. He was courteous and acted like he gave a s*** (two others, Hawks, who were the same way were Seabrook and Tuomo Ruutu). Anyhoo, the dude is a class act. Has he b****ed about some calls here and there? Sure. I don't see any reason to condemn him. He's one of the hardest working players in the history of the game, and has just grown into a physical specimen. God, I wish I could blow past a defender with the ease he did on his first goal tonight!
  17. Sid's already got a goal and an assist in the first. The goal was a beastly backhander.
  18. HeGone33, you're just being weird. If we use career stats (which say yay Forte) that's no good. If we use seasonal stats (which say yay Forte) that's no good. So basically, you just like Gore but have no reasoning other than eye test. Durability is something where career comes in play.
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 04:32 PM) Burnett has 2 seasons at $16.5 million a year ($33 million total) remaining on his contract. Peavy has $17 million on his deal next year and a $4 million buyout, for $21 million total. So, the Sox would be taking on $12 million in that scenario. My answer is clearly no just based on the numbers. A step further though...if Peavy were to come out and be decent this year, the Sox could potentially save $5 millino or more on top of that by moving him at the deadline and getting the receiving team to pick up a portion of his remaining salary. Thus, the only move the Sox should make involving Peavy is a move which reduces the Sox money exposure, not one that increases it, unless the talent coming back is obscene. Yeah, as much as Peavy has disappointed, I'd much rather have him than Burnett.
  20. A lot of NFL RBs are really interchangeable. That being said, Gore and Forte are not. I'll take the guy who stays healthy - Forte. Forte - 16/16/16/10 = 100% of games Gore - 14/16/15/14/14/11/10 = 84% of games Forte has 1,391 total yards this season, Gore has 962. Forte comprises 40% of his team's total offense, Gore comprises 29%. The Bears are/were a better passing team than the 49ers this season, yet Forte is still shining. Gore is also 28. In two years he falls off a cliff. Forte is 25. No brainer there as well. It's really not even close.
  21. QUOTE (Felix @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 04:06 PM) ahahahahahahahahahahaha Sorry, that was mean. ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah wnba sux

  23. QUOTE (Felix @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 03:10 PM) I know some people that bought it for PC and are using a controller. f*** that though, mouse + keyboard >>>>> controller. Mouse + keyboard for gaming = lame.
