Enough with the hyperbole
QUOTE (mmmmmbeeer @ Jun 24, 2011 -> 11:05 AM) To clarify, because I'm the one who posted "drunken idiots", it was a comparison to some posters sounding like the drunken idiots who call into post-game shows....not that our posters are drunken idiots. You know the callers I'm referring to, the guy who calls up Rongey after MB has a bad outing and suggests strongly that MB should be sent to the minors for a while....that's what I feel like I'm listening to if I were to read some these threads aloud. Not that this is a commentary on you at all, because it's not, but I do find it funny that mmmmmbeer has a problem with drunken idiots.

2011 TV Thread
QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Jun 24, 2011 -> 10:41 AM) What did y'all think? I thought Wilfred was amusing and that Elijah Wood and the dog guy were great (loved his accent). I hope the writing stays sharp, because I can see the novelty of the premise wearing off fast. It rests on the DVR, but I haven't heard anything good yet.

To be fair, I do think Alex Rios rapes small bunnies.

2011 TV Thread
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 24, 2011 -> 10:30 AM) I'm expecting something good from CT. He said he's a changed man because of his brother's murder, but by the end he was drinking wine straight out the bottle, so the old CT is still in the house. Oh yeah, you know CT will blow up. I do like that he was all about going after Kenny & Wes, vs letting them run the show.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 07:49 PM) Got THE COMPANY MAN from Netflix. Hope it's as good as critics say. I'm watching that OnDemand tonight. I do believe it's "The Company MEN" though.

2011 TV Thread
So yeah, The Challenge: Rivals took half an episode for Adam to get kicked off... I love it. Oh man, all the close-shots of TJ Lavin, and the voice-over as he re-recorded sentences he clearly struggled getting out during filming... maybe he should have taken more time to get himself together, maybe take a season off... he could barely walk. I hope he still has some recovery to do, and the poor guy isn't this messed up from here on out.

AJ vs. Peavy thread
I can't believe you guys have discussed this for so long. The damn players were over it just hours later. It's a non-issue.

WTF are we waiting for ? Call up Viciedo !
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 24, 2011 -> 08:48 AM) That's pretty perfect. My only qualm is that Ozzie should probably be giving Viciedo the finger. Or making out with Juan Pierre.

It is a strange season, though, I think we can all admit that. I mean, if Rios and Dunn would just wake up, this team would be so dominant. That's leading to more frustration than normal. I mean, Adam Dunn was the easiest guarantee in baseball...- Enough with the hyperbole
I reserve the right to still hate on Juan Pierre. Should I add his WAR to my signature so I don't have to back it up with concise argument everytime?!? I kid, I kid.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 10:53 PM) Exactly. I don't care about the opinions of a poster. I'll call people dumb and they'll call me dumb. Those dumbasses.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
QUOTE (IamtheHBOMB @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 10:46 PM) Haha, no. This would be a definite case of addition by subtraction. Thanks Mr. 449 posts. J4L is an awesome poster, and your comment here was an awful comment.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 10:34 PM) J4L, May not agree with what you say, but I do agree that you should be able to have your opinion (regardless of what I may think of it). Wow, yeah, ummmm, really? It's not like J4L was violating any rules. This bites.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 09:49 PM) Scenario, When I saw that butler was 6'7 I was shocked, because I remember him generally being the 4 and therefore I thought he was more like 6'9. As soon as I saw he was 6'7 I started to think that the Bulls may play Butler as both 2/3 because I do think he has the quickness to play the 2 and offensively hes a decent slasher. His own coach at Marquette said the guy's jumper is passable at best. He's Deng's backup.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
Whatever though, we weren't finding the next Kevin Martin at 1-30 anyway.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 09:27 PM) Butler will be Deng's backup. Butler should be a solid 4th 3 on a championship roster.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
I look forward to the movie.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
Cool. No 2 guard.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 09:15 PM) A rookie SG was not going to make a difference, especially one taken at 23 (or 28, whatever) in a weak draft. Brooks is nothing more than a rotational player. Rudy Fernandez would have been nice. I don't know his salary though.- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 08:56 PM) 30th pick. Although I would have loved for the Bulls to use 23 on Marshon Brooks. Yeah, why did they not just take a team need in Brooks?- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
What was traded for 23?? Do we still have another pick for a f***ing SG?- 2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 07:47 PM) I have it on ps3. They've gone to at least the class of 2013. That's how far I've made it to. Well i know what I'm doing Sunday. - Enough with the hyperbole
