QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 10:45 AM) In. I'm sick of going 22-0 in public leagues. Link me to one league where that happened. Liar.

I really enjoyed The Office last night, and thought it was hilarious.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 09:07 AM) Which is exactly what killed the Hawks last year. Not 20 minutes, not 40 minutes... 60 minutes. That is how you win a cup. It's one game, on the road, against a damn good team. This will be a nice little jolt for the Hawks to realize that even though ESPN and SI pick them to win the Cup, they have to do the work.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 08:56 AM) Ok here's a question for you all. Would you move Dan Hudson and another prospect for Mat Gamel, to have Gamel play either LF/RF going forward? I would personally drive Hudson to Milwaukee, drink with him for a night on Water Street, and give him $100 to put on black.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 08:57 AM) And leave it to the American right wing to crap on something we should be proud of. Just like they laughed at us losing an Olympic bid. Eh are you really surprised anymore? Politics in this country are an absolute joke. I refuse to watch the talking heads on FOX or the Twitter updates on CNN anymore. It's unbearable.

QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 12:45 AM) Paranormal Activity likes hockey. Who doesn't?

QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 12:45 AM) Paranormal Activity looks hokey. YOU look hokey.

Oh man. I am seriously falling in love with Modern Family.

QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 12:10 AM) Good games for the Wii for a 6-year-old boy? Before I sold my Wii, I was greatly looking forward to the new side-scrolling Mario game coming out before Christmas. That will be a must-own and a great introduction to the franchise for him. Get him Mario Kart, though it can be frustrating, its fun for kids to have a steering wheel in their hands. My cousin loved the simplicity of the two Wii Sports games as well.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 06:03 AM) Do you know who is on the Steelers roster out of curiosity? Hopefully you were briefed already because I dont want to have any more of the lop sided trades because it is going to make some cpu teams terrible. If you havent and want to know who is on their team me or someone else can post some rosters for you so you know what youre getting into. From what I remember their QB is Hasselbeck and they have Dawkins and Jared Allen on defense. The only other guy I can remember is Santana Moss but that game was a blood bath. I remember the Steelers being a pain in my ass. I can let Kev log into the league with my screen name to check rosters if he wants to send me an IM sometime today. PS sorry I didn't get my game in last night, the lady was feeling frisky. I'll get it in after work today.

When I first read this headline I thought it was a joke, but if you think about it he's doing his job just like anyone doing medical or scientific research, and it must be looked upon as extremely positive. This is really interesting and goes to show the feelings of Obama abroad.

QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 12:49 AM) in! WOOHOO!

That was a tough one to swallow. We looked liked the better team for 53 minutes in that game.

Collectively, Cardinals fans are some of the smartest in baseball. It happens, and hopefully this nets them a nice discount in a re-sign due to unfinished business. The true blame of the games should be placed upon those batting in front of Pujols, who have done nothing of note to get on and allowed the Dodgers to pitch around the Prince.

QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Oct 8, 2009 -> 07:29 PM) The Brewers probably like Gamel a lot, but I don't think they see him as their Beckham. Beckham is like... well, he's just a much, much better player. Why? Because he's on the White Sox? Let's all reel it in here for a moment. Gamel could easily be Beckham with pop from the left side. I could easily see him putting up an OPS over .900 for some time.

I am so sick of people trashing Dotel, who is a fine reliever, however I have never agreed more at any time with anything someone has put in print than the following.

Osgood has been standing on his farking head tonight. The Hawks look great and deep... when Hossa gets back this will be the best team the the NHL. The are already owning play against the Wings. Hopefully they can net a second goal here soon.

QUOTE (kev211 @ Oct 8, 2009 -> 07:10 PM) Comeback of the Century will be its name I'm excited. WOOT get to play my next game tonight. I'll have to do that before I break in NBA 2k10.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 8, 2009 -> 06:33 PM) Somebody is going to give Pods a fairly decent multi-year contract I believe. Probably by June they will wonder why. In this economic landscape I have a hard time believing that.

It may not be an argument, but I don't care!

QUOTE (BobDylan @ Oct 8, 2009 -> 06:25 PM) I pulled the Gamble deal back, was wondering about this one: C N. Mangold (94) TE J. Kleinsasser (75) Vikings: C E. Heitmann (81) CB M. Trufant (88) Just do it, but no more deals after that.
-
I'd roll with Massaquoi. With Edwards out of the picture, he's the man, while Walter is probably target #3b on his team and the other two are "meh".
-
Gamble deal no, Gore deal yes.
