  1. QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 06:58 PM) I haven't liked or used MapQuest in 3 years. Google Maps is awesome. It's the only source I have used for the last 3 years. Considering my Sprint Navigation on my phone is wrong more times than it's right, it'll probably stay that way until they finally upgrade the software.
  2. QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 11:09 AM) Haha I suppose that gets you off the hook. When you play Mario Galaxy some let me know how it is. My dad got a Wii for his b-day and I might pick that up and try it. Will do, it should be arriving today (unless that seller wants some negative feedback threats).

So I watched the first 11 episodes OnDemand, and the only one I haven't seen is the finale, because they have yet to put it up. I'm hoping they put it up on a week's delay and aren't just forgetting to put it on there. I'm itching to watch the finale. In all, I've enjoyed this season, and I think it's way better than season 3 was... however, it's nowhere near compared to seasons 1 & 2. One thing that gets old is what seems to be the writers being scared to have Vince be too successful. I think they are afraid to lose the underdog complex, but at this point it's just turning into a bunch of people screwing their careers over trying to get Vince a role in a movie that he really doesn't deserve. (Dana Gordon, Ari Gold, even Eric with a promising prospect in Bow Wow). The transition from Vince being a goofup laying on a beach drinking with Turtle to now where all he cares about is his movie career as a serious actor was just too quick and too unbelievable though.
  4. QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 10:51 AM) And then topping it off with a Desperate Housewives session? I like that show... however I think my obsession with Sons of Anarchy, Entourage, and Always Sunny more than makes up for the previous manhood lost!
  5. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 10:10 AM) Super Mario Galaxy will suck you in. The only thing i can say is that the gravity is gonna mess with you. All I had to see was that 9.7 next to the game on IGN to know it will be great. I remember how much I loved Super Mario 64, and it looks like this is that game on steroids. The Wii takes you back to that time when video games were just fun... it wasn't about racking up kill counts or touchdowns... it was about winning a goofy race, setting a new time trial record, and shooting your friends with turtle shells.
  6. I love that he's a Sox fan, but f*** if that wasn't a waste of time splitting reporters up to their fanhood. Spend those hours doing something important.
  7. I had a really good black Friday. It was nice to already have my hd tv's so I didn't have to be a 5am minion or whatever. This seemed like the super cheap HDTV black friday, as every other vehicle was a truck with a tv box in the back of it. I don't know what made me laugh, but it just reminded me of hunters with deer on their hoods, but this time it was a f***in' tv. Anyway, I pulled off some good deals. One nice thing about having to go to Rockford for the holidays (ok the only nice thing), is that black friday shopping is really convenient and easy. I got all my holiday shopping done, picked up a Wii and all the accessories and s***, and never felt rushed. We left right after the first mad rush in the morning (about 9am, so all the psychos were going to deposit their first haul in the home and to grab breakfast)... so it never felt crazy or anything. The parking lots were packed, but aside from that, it was no big deal. We even got a table in the food court!
  8. Chicago Coyotes However, this one isn't a "legend" anymore, as one walked through my backyard last spring. I was like, "WTF is a coyote doing in my backyard?"
  9. The Wii is the s***. I can't put Mario Kart down, and Mario Galaxy will arrive in the mail today. The wife is even playing, which is nice to see, because that was half the reason I sold the seXBOX 360.
  10. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 09:31 AM) If Pacman can get 15 chances, Im sure Plaxico can get 10 chances Well yeah, I guess if the Cowboys needs a WR, but they seem to have plenty of those.
  11. I think this could spell the end of the road for Plax. The Giants are fine without him, and I don't see another team wanting to add that head case. He's not as good as TO, who is about the only person who gets away with goofy antics.

QUOTE (G&T @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 08:20 AM) Possibly true The person below me laughed at the term "protein shake" in Markbilliards' post. False, skipped to last post. The person below me is eating pizza during the Bears game tonight.
  13. The 360/Wii swap was awesome. Wii blows it out of the water.
  14. brunettes... and I married one.
  15. QUOTE (bschmaranz @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 08:49 PM) December 23, 2006 Traded from Texas Rangers to Chicago White Sox for P Brandon McCarthy in 5-player deal Well f*** my ass. I'm still thankful for it. What are you all thankful for?
  16. Wasn't it two years ago that we landed John Danks, or was that X-Mas break? I think it was Thanksgiving, and if that's the case, I'm thankful that KW landed John Danks.
  17. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 02:04 PM) You gonna try and get a Wii bundle on Ebay or something? Or are you going to buy it at a store and get the warranty and such? The Gamestop by me has new Wii's in right now (or used for $199 and you can buy a 1 year warranty for 19.99, but then you don't get wii sports, so I'll go new so I get that too).
  18. QUOTE (rangercal @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 01:48 PM) LOL! good 4 u . That's awesome! Considering I kept the HDMI cable, the charger, the two battery packs, the extra controller, and the two games, hell yeah. Already sold the controller on eBay for 25 (used that to get Super Mario Galaxy), expect around 90 total for the two games, and about 20 for the charger/battery packs and another 20 for the official microsoft hdmi cable. That should allow me to get the Wii ($250), Mario Kar, and another controller. Nice little start to the family fun station.
  19. Sorry jerks. Some dude just gave me $190 through Craig's List for it. What a sucker.

QUOTE (Texsox @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 01:31 PM) True, on multiple occasions The person below me played at least two High School sports True. Ice hockey and track. The person below me owns more than 100 DVDs.
  21. QUOTE (striker62704 @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 09:33 AM) I am all for a Dye/Bailey trade as long as we get another prospect. I think some people over value prospects. Even if Bailey does turn out to be good what would be considered good? 12-15 wins? You have to look at what is expected of a player and what are the odds you will get what is expected. I would expect 30hrs and 100rbi from Dye and you could say there is a 90% chance you get that. I would expect 12-15 wins from Bailey but the odds of getting that next year are probably 10%, 2010 25%, 2011 60%. You get my drift? Sure Bailey has talent but that doesn't mean he'll pan out According to his career track record and the 2 times he's done that in 14 seasons, I'd put that more at a 14% chance.

QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 09:39 AM) False. The person below me can't wait to get off work and get wasted on the biggest drinking night of the year. True. The person below me likes the movie, "Jingle All The Way".
