  1. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Feb 21, 2008 -> 07:50 PM) Before today I would've said signing Uribe. But suddenly i'm actually looking forward to watching Uribe and Ocab work the infield. I don't think Richar will break with the team out of ST - he's not doing himself any favors showing up late, that's for sure. If Uribe can play solid D at 2B and hit 25 dingers, I think the Sox will be a force in the central. something tells me this move to 2B could be a wake-up call for this guy (at least i hope so). Geez, he is having visa problems, its not like he is on his couch watching oprah eating Bon Bons
  2. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 03:01 PM) I love this trade. Three iffy prospects for a guy who will be a bonafide, swith-hitting stud. I agree
  3. Rowand, Koch, Canseco, Belle, Cameron
  4. It was the addition of Jon Garland that made Hunter realize the Angels were a serious contender, that or Torii wants a piece of Lovie Chung's sweet ass
  5. AWESOME!!! I LOVE OZZIE!!!
  6. QUOTE(Al Lopez's Ghost @ Sep 8, 2007 -> 11:37 AM) I think you mean game 2, but you could argue game 3 - losing 5-0 to Oswalt on the road. We were down 4-0 to Oswalt, went ahead 5-4, then tied at 5 off Hermie in the 8th
  7. Batista, SEA (11-8, 4.17) @ Floyd, CHW (1-1, 7.08) Go get em Gavin!!
  8. Washburn, SEA (8-8, 4.18) @ Vazquez, CHW (9-8, 3.64) Ill be out in SEC 101 tonight...GO SOX!!
  9. ESPN 1000 was saying that the Sox are going to negotiate a 2-3 yr extension with Dye now
  10. Prior to today's second game vs. the Detroit Tigers, the Chicago White Sox recalled right-handed pitcher Gavin Floyd from Class AAA Charlotte and optioned right-hander Dewon Day to Charlotte. Floyd is scheduled to start tonight against the Tigers.

    Well it seems Javy has gotten his stuff together and is quietly becoming a go to guy on this staff...Finally starting to show us all why KW signed him to that 3 yr extension!
  13. No, he sucks as a fielder and has booted alot of easy grounders, and has ZERO arm...Gooch is a BIG TIME upgrade at 2B over Cintron

  16. Cuz Im a diehard and they arent as bad as the Blackhawks and I watch them too
  17. Jermaine Dye, RF--Chicago White Sox: White Sox are interested in moving the potential free agent. He was offered to the Yankees for Bobby Abreu, but talks quickly ended. The Dodgers' interest is diminshing. The D-Backs will not move Carlos Gonzalez for Dye. The Padres ended talks with the White Sox after they asked for Khalil Greene and Scott Linebrink for Dye. The Red Sox inquired, but were told Dye will not be traded to a team where he will not play everyday. Indians and Angels also interested. Last updated: 11:06 AM - Jul 22, 07 | Source: Ken Rosenthal
  18. Tadahito Iguchi, 2B--Chicago White Sox: The White Sox would be willing to deal him for the right offer. Padres interested. Last updated: 12:39 PM - Jul 22, 07 | Source: NY Post |
  19. Jon Garland, RHSP--Chicago White Sox: The Diamondbacks are interested in acquiring Garland or John Danks. Their interest in Jose Contreras is very minimal. Danks is near-untouchable. The D-Backs would be willing to deal Conor Jackson, Chris Young and/or Carlos Quentin. Both the Diamondbacks and White Sox denied talks about a deal. Meanwhile, Gavin Floyd, Charlie Haeger, Lance Broadway and Heath Phillips are among White Sox relievers drawing interest from several teams including Arizona, Los Angeles and Milwaukee. Peter Gammons says the Braves have talked about sending Edgar Renteria to the Sox for Garland. Last updated: 12:07 PM - Jul 23, 07| Source: Phil Rogers
