If there is an under 21 gathering, i guess i could attend even though i'm much older than that crowd, lol...the 3 people in my room are all under 21 anyway.

The thing that bugged me the most during those 2 games is how they presented the game to me like i had never seen an illini game before. I realize not everyone watches every Illini game like i do, but i would say the majority of the audience is comprised of illini fans. I got so sick of the "Illinois is a very fast team! Watch out for Dee Brown he's fast!" and the "They share the basketball well, that's why they are good" comments every 5 minutes. Also, the "bango" "bongo" "bango" 3 point calls for Luther's highlights in the Northwestern St game was, um, kinda weird.

Is this Butter Parque guy serious? I mean, really people? For the love of God, please get a clue...or at least watch some ESPN once in a while. This is just ridiculous.

Yeah, that's one of the biggest, if not the biggest, mismatch of the year in college basketball. It'd be tough to find a bigger disparity between opponents.

Duke is not as good as they were last year, and Illinois is better than they were last year. Saying that those 2 are the same team they were last year is not even close to being true. I'll play Duke anytime now on a neutral court, and we'll beat em. We'd sneak out a win at home? Excuse me, but if you haven't noticed, it's harder to win in Champaign than it is to win at Cameron. Sqeak out a win. Yeah, that's what we did against Wake Forest too. We'd have a better chance beating Duke at home in front of your egghead crowd than you do of winning at Assembly Hall, without a doubt. Truthaboutduke.com is awesome, i visit it all the time.

Truly a mindless post. 16th toughest schedule before yesterday's game. Duke, 72nd. If you are trying to say Duke has had a tougher non conference schedule, you clearly know nothing about college basketball. You left out Gonzaga on that list, who rolled Washington and beat Georgia Tech. You also left out Wake Forest, who we rolled at home when they were the #1 team. I'll let the rankings speak for us.

To be honest, i'm not surprised. Rex, dealing with tenths of a second when there are only .7 seconds left to begin with is a big deal. Sure, he's human, but that clock started way, way, way late compared to the time it hit his hands. There should not be that much of a human delay between the time the ball hit his hands to the clock starting. The guy was already dribbling by the time the clock started. Cost them the game.

Not the greatest game by Illinois, but a win is a win. It was a tough, gritty rivalry game. I'll give Mizzou credit, they really came to play and fought back many times. Kleiza is just a monster, we had no answer for him. He was drawing fouls like it was going out of style. Our bigs had some terrible games, especially Augie. Hopefully that's his one off game for a long time. Guards stepped up, which is what you hope for in tight games. Great atmosphere, good to get the win. That makes 5 braggin rights victories in a row. I just saw the IU highlights...besides not being up on Charlotte more, you have to blame your clock guy. That clock started WAY late, there's no way a guy can spin, dribble, and shoot in .7 seconds. It's not physically possible. The shot appeared to be off on time according to the clock, but man, who was on that thing? And nothing but net? That's just unreal. When it rains it pours i guess.
