Heisman
I think it's announced at 5 CST...

All Big Ten Awards
I'd give it to Hart or Edwards over him

Most explosive/entertaining, yes. Best? I'm not so sure of that, just IMO.

Yeah, the White-Peterson is kinda like the chicken or the egg dilemna, if you know what i mean. Which one opens the field up for the other more?
-
Marvin Harrison
Yeah, hitting around 50% on FG attempts is nowhere near cutting it in the NFL. I'm not sure what happened...injury? mental?

Marvin Harrison
If i remember right, they released him like a week ago. He was like 10/20 or close to it on field goal attempts, i think.

Sorry if this has been posted before, i must have missed it. Anyway, who would you vote for and why? My pick is Peterson. The whole Freshman bias thing is bullcrap. I think he was the most valuable player in college football because he stepped it up in big games (okla st and texas 200+ yards) and made Jason White even better than he is. I also think Leinart gets a bit too much credit for the number he puts up in an offense-first pac 10 with a ridiculous amount of weapons on that team.

BCS Bowls Announced
California might have one of the nation's most complete offensive teams, but it beat a whole bunch of no one. As predicted, everyone conveniently dismissed the 28-27 should’ve-been loss to an Oregon team that’ll sit home for the bowl season. Most were too busy watching the SEC and Big XII title games to see Cal struggle until late to put away a mediocre Southern Miss team. What’s Cal’s claim to fame? Losing to USC in gallant fashion. That’s fine, but that was still a loss - collegefootballnews.com I agree I think Cal is overrated and Texas is underrated.

Yeah Turiaf really went off against us a week ago. McCants? Try Williams, Brown, and Head. McCants wouldn't go nuts, and you'd have trouble guarding our perimiter. Put the Koolaid down, my god.

Without the blocked punt this game wouldn't have been close. Va tech dominated. Impressive.

Survived Arkansas. Sloppy game overall, but it was the first road game against a decent team. Tough game as i expected. Get the W and move on is the attitude. Now we can be #1. Sweet. Chicago St Monday. UNC could beat illinois maybe, but could they beat santa clara? We're #1 now probly, but it doesn't mean a ton, we all know the teams at the top are real close.

Here's hoping IU pulls off the upset, go big ten Today's game vs Arkansas is a "trap" game, let's hope we play 40 solid minutes. I'm certainly not overconfident about this game.

Illinois to get Zook per ESPN
Zook or Brewster, either one works for me.

NHLPA Requests meeting with NHL
All this means is that there is a much better chance of their being an 05-06 season.

The problem i see with the IU offense is that there are those lapses for a few minutes where they don't do s*** in the half court offense. It's like i'll pass it over here, hold it a while...oh wait there's 5 seconds left on the shot clock, time to force my own shot. It seems like the classic Davis offense. If they had better offensive posessions tonight, i think they may have won. Too many just absolutely terrible half court offenses from what i saw.

For those of you debating the draft...he couldn't help his stock much more if he stayed another year. I don't see the advantage of staying, unless the draft class is much weaker in his senior year, thereby improving his rank? I don't know the nba draft very well, i'm just speculating on how it might work.
