I don't know what game you are watching, but USC is horrible. UNC has played well, but i watched the entire first half and USC was absolutely brutal. Slaughtering Gonzaga > Slaughtering USC -

You IU/other big ten school fans that aren't rooting for Illinois, i'd like you to explain your reasoning. It's a Big Ten/ACC challenge, i will surely root for IU over UNC, etc. -

They choose to sit there, for the most part, but are told to sit down the majority of the time, or the A section people b****. -

All-Americans get first dibs for floor seats (read, only ones who will get floor seats for big games). As far as bleachers/chairs along the baseline goes, that is simply first come, first serve. I prefer the bleachers by the basket, i like the view of the game better and i like being able to stand the entire game and go nuts. You have to stay down for the most part if you are in the chairs. It's not really a true Krush feeling...sitting back and watching the game like that. -

I don't have to wait, in theory, because i'm an all american, but i want my normal spot and i think waiting outside will just build the anticipation for the game. Plus, i'd rather be outside assembly hall than in class -

It is paint the hall orange night 2005. Although Illinois is trying to make every game a paint the hall orange night. There's no reason not to wear orange. I'll be in the Krush to the left of the basket. I'm getting in line at about 2:00 for the game. Steve, it's gonna be awesome, even if you aren't on the floor. -

This year is Illinois' year...hopefully. I think IU could be real solid in 05-06 as well if the young guys take their lumps now and learn what it's like to play in the Big Ten and against some tough non conference foes. 17-14 is a long year by IU standards, all things considered. It's essentially a rebuilding year, something that IU doesn't like to hear. -

I was in the student section right by the band. I started ripping on minneosta's O line and Cupito towards the end, it was pretty quality. If you watched the jumbrotron, i was on multiple times flashing my Illinois hat amongst all my friends.

IF, and always an if for any team, everyone is healthy, i think this team makes the elite 8 with a 50% chance to make the Final Four...that will depend on what seed we get, the matchups, etc. -

We got Marcus Arnold, a transfer from ISU, but he has to sit out a year. Pruitt could be decent up front. No we didn't sign any studs, but it's not something you could have 'fixed' for this year, in one year. -

If our guards didn't play mediocre last year against Duke we may have won that game. I just point this out because i don't think we lost because of our inside defense, really. Is our inside game a strength? No. Is it terrible? No. No college team i know of has an absolutely dominant inside and outside game. Teams have their strengths and weaknesses, and we have ours. Will our backcourt make up for it? Will Augustine and Smith improve from last year? I guess we'll find out. The number 5 ranking is fine with me. Really doesn't matter too much. I think Wake should be #1, but again, doesn't make a difference at this point. Everything is on paper and nothing's been played yet.
