  1. Cuz how the hell would i be fairweather if the illini were good and i went to the school
  2. Where's cwsox when you need him Eat some crow right there Irish prevail
  3. Well it's more insecure to b**** about other people's football teams because they aren't as good as FSU, then. That's complete and utter bulls***. You wanna talk about insecure - you have to root for powerhouses.
  4. Correct. Man i'd pay money to see a Wright/Keith matchup
  5. Anyone can be a fan of a team like that. I could be a Miami/OU/USC/LSU/etc fan tomorrow. I can deal with those expectations. The rest of us just don't have such teams like that (Illinois, NW, etc). It has nothing to do with expectations. It has to do with being a fan of a team for a good reason. I see your point with Dunn, but don't give me this expectation crap. There are way way way too many people who jump on good teams because it's easier to root for a powerhouse than an above average to decent to bad team. Period. And those people are losers. Just don't talk s*** to Illinois or NW fans because "your team is better", because it's complete crap. Maybe i'll jump to the next powerhouse, or Miami... I can't stand those people.
  6. Anyone can be a fan of a 0-2 loss team every year. You entirely missed his point. He never doubted your loyalty, just questioned why it's there.
  7. Agree 100% Might i add, Chris Rix for Heisman That was a brutal game all around
  8. Without a f***ing visit, out of nowhere. And apparently Self recruited him on U of I's tab. Must have done some good bashing of U of I. f***ing prick. I still think he bolts NBA style
  9. When the Bears played here two years ago, i got 200 full season tickets, 20 bucks a game Oh, and parking was free.....lol\ I also once woke up at 11:40 and made a noon kickoff.
  10. Keith Tkachuk = CLUTCH 4 goals, 1 assist USA wins 5-3, Czech Republic up next on friday
  11. I play a good amount of hold em down here. I play every thursday, and sometimes on the weekend when i can. I'm definitely in.
  12. A&M was a brutal squad, but even so, the offense for Illinois looked real good. Can't really judge the defense in that game. Next week's game against UCLA should be a real good game. I expected a blowout and got it. If we won the game by 10 pts i'd be super worried about winning another game.
  13. Down 8, missed a freakin extra point Illinois won 52-13, looked good on offense, good to get a blowout win like that going into next week.
  14. I just like Baker's constant use of the words "dude" and "man." And his references to society Like, "man, that's just how society is these days. dude, you can't tell a guy to bunt, that's just how life is these days. cmon man, i don't know"
  15. We lost Howard, who, if you knew anything about the Illini, was very influential to the success of this program. Good luck at Texas A&M
  16. What i spoke was the truth, you don't know enough about your own school apparently.
  17. Chris Chelios and Aaron Miller were absolutely brutal tonight on D. Awful. I liked what i saw from Esche But this USA team is too damn old and slow to keep up with some of Canada's players.
  18. Your facilities have been terrible, and your athletic department has been a joke the last few years....
  19. Most of the stuff you are reading is complete crap, and the same thing over and over. Brown played with a stress fracture the last few months. After the season he was put in a boot, didn't do s*** for weeks. Well, he attended the Jordan camp just to watch, and Jordan said something to the effect of "you aren't going to let a little injury stop you are you?" Jordan had been playing Deron already 1 v 1. Dee played...and not even in his own shoes. He had to borrow someone elses shoes, and they weren't the right size, to play. f***ed him up a bit more, wasn't a wise choice. Brown is currently treadmilling it and doing some light work on it. There is a very good chance that he will play this season. All of the doctors reports have been good, really. It's just that the leg isn't strong enough for him to turn around on right now. Now, of course there is the chance he could redshirt this year, it's not 100% he'll play. But from all the things i've read, and all the sources i've talked to down here, i'd say there is an 80% chance he plays this year. To be honest, i'm not overly worried. It's a concern, sure...but this stuff is being blown way out of proportion. Take that however you want.
  20. Matha and Sinclair will both be allowed to play Saturday against Florida A&M
