  1. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 10:57 AM) It's to make it more open and feel bigger. If that was a single couple in there that used one room for an office and another for their bedroom it would be really nice. But for roommates it's probably not an ideal set up. I'd rather have it be functional, not cut the wall off a few feet from the top. Even if one room was an office - when the person is trying to do work, and you can hear the kitchen, TV, etc it's distracting. It just seems so pointless so it "seems" more open/bigger. If you live by yourself I'm sure it's fine. Any roommate situation or using it as an office, nursery, etc...loses the functionality. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 11:01 AM) Yea that's what I'm thinking now, it's too bad because the rest of it is really nice and is a very reasonable deal for the area it's in. I feel like this happens a ton. Oh man, this place is great! Oh, wait, loft style walls. f***.
  2. I'll never understand places that have walls that end before the ceiling.
  3. This all just has the feeling of "see you Saturday at 2-2." Someone step up and help steal this game.
  4. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 09:23 AM) Is everyone ready for some Sheldon Brookbank action tonight? Yup. And more bad Oduya minutes.
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 09:12 AM) Oh, completely on purpose. I had to be at the gym at 5:50am today. The gym would have forgiven you for double OT. He's cool like that.
  6. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 08:07 AM) They won in a shoot out! Banned. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 08:11 AM) Yeah, I was zzzzzzzz. I hope on accident. No way you could have decided to go to bed, that game was entertaining as f***, especially the OTs.
  7. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jun 5, 2013 -> 08:35 PM) I've had people do that to me and you fold your arms in front of your chest to protect it as they lift you from behind while you exhale. That's great, but I'm sure you didn't have, you know, trainers around you to help you with something like this.
  8. Penguins actually played a pretty good game, much better compared to their horse s*** effort in games 1 and 2...had an edge in play...just could not score. Malkin had like 20+ shot attempts. They had to find a way to get the OT winner. Series was hinging on it, they are so defeated right now. If the Hawks can advance whoever is there, is there...I just didn't want a short series.
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 5, 2013 -> 09:51 PM) OT Double OT
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 5, 2013 -> 07:09 PM) So is shooting jump shots with a baseball easier than shooting with a basketball? I drain s*** with a golf ball.
  11. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 5, 2013 -> 11:14 AM) Kinda hope it gets to 10 games tomorrow night at home. If it's going to be a bad losing streak, let's make it memorable. It'll sure make Gene Honda's "White Sox fans, on your feet!" pretty hilarious tomorrow. Yeah, right.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 5, 2013 -> 07:05 AM) The official was going over there because of the cross check. Williams just made it easy by dropping his gloves so he didn't have to take Sharp alone. Yeah, to break them up and get them to settled down to drop the puck. There was no penalty called initially, Sharp wasn't going for anything.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 5, 2013 -> 09:10 AM) Because he never actually enrolled. Makes no difference to me. NLI.
  14. BTW, how bad has Kane been? f***ing invisible for a month.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 08:11 PM) Is that Eric Cartman screaming before the game starts? They do that before every game. They've been doing that skit for years. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 08:41 PM) This ice is terrible. Now I know why they are strong at home. Wasn't any worse than Rolling Stones UC. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 08:51 PM) He's lucky Williams dropped his gloves, because Sharp would have gone off for the XC by himself without it. Not true, as they both went for roughing. Nothing was called until they went to fight. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 09:07 PM) I think it's time to seriously discuss getting Oduya off the ice. He's been a whole lot of bad. Between the turnovers and pinching at the wrong time, I want to kill him. Q loves him for some odd reason. He's beyond brutal defensively. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 10:29 PM) That didn't look offside to me. Shaw was way offside, lolligagging the f*** out of the zone. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 10:39 PM) Why wasn't that icing just before the empty netter? Huge save by Quick on Bickell earlier. Hossa knocked it down right when it was shot out.
  16. Hope it's not serious, as there would go all trade possibilities.
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 03:56 PM) So completely inaccurate. But keep throwing garbage at the wall and hope no one calls you out on it.
  18. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 04:53 PM) Give or take. I agree with it if the kid played or enrolled and wanted to transfer for athletic reasons (still doesnt always happen) but he hasnt suited up for them once. I dont like punishing 17-18 year old kids for making a decision too quickly BECAUSE of NLOID. Wasn't he committed there for 2 years? Not sure about "making a decision too quickly"
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 04:32 PM) Best part is they wont release him to attend somewhere else so they are forcing him to sit out a year. Dick move Bulls***. Most coaches agree with this move. You can't have guys signing NLI's and THEN transferring immediately. I'll pile on ND as much as the next guy, but not on this one.
  20. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 01:37 PM) Eh - regular season he was decidedly middle of the pack in save percentage. Bottom tier playoff goalie supported by monster offense. You're basically correct in what you've said, but the one time he was f***ing unreal was 07-08 playoffs (lost to Wings).
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 3, 2013 -> 10:32 AM) Haha. The statement itself may be dumb, but the concept makes sense IMO. As a higher seed, protect your home ice and you have nothing to worry about it. The lower seed better figure out a way to steal a road game. I get why people say it, it just doesn't make sense. It's not like you win 90% of the time at home and then if you lose it's OHMYf***INGGOD NOW IT'S A SERIES. 1) The series has started and 2) I find it hard to say a 2-2 series "hasn't started" because of which team won which games, and so on and so forth. Home ice helps, but it's not a be all end all. I think in the first 2 rounds it was somewhere around 63%. It's not exactly "stealing" a game when you win on the road. I don't look at this series as "if we lose both in LA, no big deal, we're supposed to" it's more "f***, now it's 2-2." Taking an approach of "we only have to win the home games" is just idiotic. I don't really want to play a game 7.
  22. Lunt to visit Illinois again on Thursday. Seems 50/50 at this point between us and Louisville. I never thought we would have a legit chance here, but it'd be a HUGE get.
  23. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 3, 2013 -> 10:00 AM) Exactly. Exactly.
  24. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 3, 2013 -> 09:51 AM) It makes total sense. Look at the Sharks/Kings series. So the Sharks/Kings series still hasn't started.
