Everyone is far too worried about attendance.

You can't handcuff your front office because "wait, the attendance might go from 15K to 12K in August/September" if we trade a few guys.

I'm guessing part of this stems from me playing so much baseball as a kid, and just recently picking up golf last few years, casually. Rock now I think I understand the concept, at least somewhat...one of these days I'll hit the range instead of the course and hit 500 ball until it's not as bad. Anyone play Front Page Sports: Baseball Pro '96 Season back in the day on PC? I'd spend hours upon hours doing the drafts and building teams, simulating, etc. It would take forever to simulate stuff, get to the next round, etc, s*** that would happen in minutes now. It was so addicting to draft your own teams. Didn't play many of the actual games.
