I think yesterday was so much needed for the team. Hearing all of the rumors is distracting, whether they like to admit it or not, and getting away from it all helps. I hope they have their heads cleared and are ready to go out and play THEIR baseball tonight.

This time in the rehab work, assuming he is going to attempt to come back, does anyone think he needs to lose a little weight to relieve some of the stress on the ankle? It's not like teams didn't know before this that we may need another hitter. The White Sox are probably going to announce this anyways. It's not Bruce's fault, other teams would have found out easily. Suddenly 2 days before the deadline Kenny becomes "desperate" for another hitter after Franks doctors appointments? Hmmmm, wouldn't take a brain surgeon to figure that one out. While this makes it tougher on Kenny b/c its final now, other teams knew our situation.

Posters, What does everyone think of having a trade countdown timer on the Inside Beat page? It could be at the top of the page but I have no idea how to write the script for it and figured if it was something people would be in favor of, somebody might know how to do it. I know CBS Sportsline has a counter on their page so I'm not sure if you could snag that code or anything. I want to make sure its not going to drive anyone crazy in the process. Repsond so we could take an informal poll to gauge interest.
