I, for one, would like to formally apologize to the poster who started the "FIRE SALE BY JUNE OR JULY" thread back in April. We all shouted him down. And, sadly, he's right. So, poster whose name I have forgotten, I am sorry. You were right. We were jerks.

I'm only including stadiums I've been to.... I really like PNC Park, and I'm a fan of Miller Park as well. I got to visit PacBell/AT&T Park, but there was no game going on. Overall, though, I have to give it to PNC. So, the folks in Pittsburgh have that going for them, at least...

It's worse.

I was at the game today. And despite the glorious weather, the game was an afternoon of utter craptastic-ness that defies belief. It's so hard to root for these guys right now. There's no spark, there's no life, there's no reason to get excited.

Amanda Beard is going to be on with Boers and Bernstein this afternoon. I think they said it would be at 4:00.

Just got home from the game. It was pretty tough to get a read on the ump's strike zone tonight. Seemed very generous on the outside corner, but only at times. Of course, from where I was sitting, I couldn't tell high/low worth a damn. There were a lot of Yankees fans in attendance. The cheers in the first inning when they scored their first run were too loud for my liking. But we Sox fans got to go home happy. Well, happy except for when I think of our bullpen (before it gets to Jenks, anyway). But still, I'll happily take the win.

And ESPN last night was reporting that Donovan's having cold feet....

My dad and I will be there. And like the last game to which I had tickets, it looks rainy.

I was gonna ask if Mackowiak was an option....

I don't see anything wrong with what A-Rod did. If you can't tune out one person trying to distract you by shouting, do you really belong in the Major Leagues?

According to GameDay now, Boone has replaced MacD and induced Morneau to pop out to AJ. 2 out, bases loaded, Torii Hunter coming up. Now Aardsma in to face TorHu.
