  1. Uh oh. if I were a member of the paparazzi I would steer clear of Lindsey Lohan because you know shes not going to be outdone.
  2. Im thinking of marrying the guy whose last name is beer
  3. There was a kid in my high school and his first name was Anal. I always thought that was pretty bad.
  4. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jul 27, 2007 -> 12:56 AM) Man, there's an awful lot of them, I've played far too many video games in my time (some were mentioned already): NES- Contra first and foremost, Jackal, Gunsmoke, Bubble Bobble, Blades of Steel, GI Joe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the arcade one). There was another game with motorcycles and crazy side-cars with souped-up guns, can't remember the name. Also, I got hooked on Bomberman on my roommate's emulator. Super Nintendo- Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country (man, that was addictive), NBA Jam. Also, it wasn't quite my favorite, but does anyone remember NCAA Basketball? It was super-cheap, you could run around using your teammates for picks constantly and get easy dunks. Plus there was some guy on UNC that never missed from the arc (fake players). Playstation- The big one was Twisted Metal 2 for me, that game was awesome. Blowing up the Eiffel Tower rarely got old, and beating that last boss was such a pain in the ass, think I only pulled it off once. I played Battle Arena Toshinden and Tekken 2 an awful lot too. Another one I liked a lot was this fighting game with dinosaurs, think it was called Primal Rage or something like that. I always took the farting baboon, I could do some damage with that guy. Playstation 2- Don't really count as classics, but a couple that don't get as much hype as the should: Twisted Metal Black and The Mark of Kri. The stories were so much better on TMB than they were in the past, and though it took a while to get used to the game speed it was ridiculously fun. The latter never sold as well as I thought it should have. It's a fun action-slasher with some stealth mixed in and some really cool art. My only gripe was that is was too short (I could beat it in one extended sitting now), and it's now out of print. Spyhunter?
  5. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jul 26, 2007 -> 09:42 PM) Despite all that they re-opened talks for a long term contract b4 the deadline, obviously they didnt get it done but they still re-opened talks. And he has taken the tag this early so he wont be out of game shape or anything and we will have him the whole season. Im sure they will atleast talk about an extension i just dont know the likelyhood that it gets done.... especially with the need to sign Tommie Harris longterm soon. We got Harris locked up for two more years though. Were actually gonna have decent cap space because of the way the Tillman/Vasher contracts were worked. Id love to sign Briggs long term after this year. We simply cant afford to pay him more then Urlacher though.
  6. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 25, 2007 -> 10:16 PM) Foo Fighters... http://www.thesmokinggun.com/backstagetour/foo/foo1.html Hilarious The best one of these Ive ever seen was a few years ago. I think it was Britney Spears and it had something about having a phone in her dressing room that only worked for incoming calls and the number wasnt to be given out, but if the phone rang they fined the place.
  7. QUOTE(Jim Spencer @ Jul 26, 2007 -> 06:14 PM) I sure wish the Sox had the Tiger's problems with pitching Verlander 11-3 Bonderman 10-2 Durbin 7-3 Miller 5-3 Grilli 5-2 Jones 27 saves Seay 2.96 ERA in 36 games and don't forget Zumaya will be back next month. I also wish the Sox had the Tiger's problems with hitting after those guys they lack depth though
  8. QUOTE(retro1983hat @ Jul 26, 2007 -> 09:32 AM) I think Kenny already has the kid traded for Carl Everett. No, it was for the future rights of Robbie Alomar I believe.
  9. Anybody else have Sega Channel? I remember waiting till midnight on the first of each month for the new games to come with my brother. That was a technology that was way ahead of its time.
  10. I just spray one shot in the air and then walk through it.
  11. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 25, 2007 -> 05:29 PM) May I recommended Sex Panther by Odeon? It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good. They've done studies, you know. Sixty percent of the time, it works every time. This scene was honestly the first time I actually spit from laughter, and to top it off it was at the theater.
  12. QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 25, 2007 -> 06:16 PM) I think Jim got some of that for Christmas and didn't like the smell. Might still be in the box. Is it in a light green bottle with a gold top? No, its a clear bottle with a silver top

    Good cologne?

Well, last night I accidentally broke my only bottle of cologne, Acqua Di Gio, and now I need to buy a new one. I rarely wear cologne, only if I need to get dressed up or occasionally on weekends. I normally stick with what I know but I figured I would branch out and ask some other people what some good colognes were. Maybe even some good unknowns that people have never heard of. Any advice would be great.
  14. If you would have told me a few years ago that Britney and K-Fed were gonna get a divorce I would have thought it was a great possibility. But if you were gonna tell me that K-Fed is head and shoulders more equipped to be raising the children and should have custody I would have thought you were crazy. This disaster shouldnt be allowed to raise children.
  15. I'll be interested to see how this unfolds. I cant imagine any circumstance where she gets this stuff thrown out. Regardless of the field sobriety test, didnt she blow a .13? Also, it doesnt matter whos cocaine it was if she had it on her. Especially if it was enough to warrant a felony. Finally, the driving on a suspended license is easy enough to prove. A. When she got caught she was driving. B. is her drivers license valid?
  16. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jul 25, 2007 -> 07:52 AM) And way, way too many meat curtain shots. I forgot about those. I do think the biggest advocate of that, Britney, decided to start covering that thing up.
  17. QUOTE(Soxy @ Jul 24, 2007 -> 10:39 PM) Ummm, I think the next one is in November? Man, if we got till November, between Lohan, Britney and Paris we can see three to four rehab stints, six DUIs, one custody battle, two eating disorders and Im sure we can squeeze Peta getting in there somehow.
  18. QUOTE(Soxy @ Jul 24, 2007 -> 09:05 PM) For serial. It's like they're trying to out trainwreck each other. Whens sweeps week?
  19. This girl is a train wreck. Shes making Paris look like a saint.
  20. Well in baseball, lets say someone wanted to bet the over/under. The homeplate umpire could call a smaller strike zone to try to force the game to go over and vice versa.
  21. I was discussing this at work today and became curious if any other sports have been fixed on this level. I honestly must have been too naive but I always doubted professional sports were fixed. I had the friends that always said the fix was in or that Vegas calls the shots. My question is, how often do you guys think this happens and in what other sports?
  22. I just posted the article on talkbears. Its gonna be interesting to see how all this unfolds. Some of the national media outlets think if he is found guilty he may never play in the NFL again. Matt Schaubb has got to think this is hilarious. With the first pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Petrino and the Falcons select Brian Brohm, Quarterback from The U of the Lou
  23. I think some people are getting a little carried away with this. I think its quite evident that the vast majority of the people who post here are all die hard fans and will follow the team good or bad. The impression I got was that this thread was for humor.
  24. I wanna know which players are performing poorly so when I get drunk at the Cell I know who DESERVES to get ridiculed instead of just always assuming its Boone Logan. These arent the days with Damaso Marte or even Jose Valentin when you knew you would always have somebody to taunt out there.
