QUOTE (G&T @ Feb 6, 2010 -> 01:06 PM) MB's perfect game. Studying for the Bar exam. I just remember getting what I thought was a REALLY random text from a friend in California (who should not have been able to see the game) about Dwayne Wise. It was so strange that I didn't think anything of it for almost an hour when I took a study break. This, I was playing sand volleyball when my brother called to tell me

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 7, 2010 -> 03:24 PM) Evan Turner is easily the best player I've seen at OSU since Jim Jackson, I would put him up there with Glen Robinson, Deron Williams etc in the Mt Rushmore of the conference. Unreal player. I agree, I love the villain -

My 1992 Toyota 4runner still runs like a champ, I know the next car I get will most likely be a Toyota. This story doesn't worry me.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 29, 2010 -> 04:29 PM) Ha I wish. The relationship I've been in with a girl for just under 2 years has essentially come to an end. It's been hot and cold for about the past 6 months, but we've never really fought. It was mainly a matter of me being a huge POS for pretty much the entirety of the 2009 calendar year while she was actually being productive and becoming a legitimate member of society. So I had a bit of a revelation that I needed to step up and make changes, and thus far it's been great for 2010 - joined two very good business oriented organizations on campus, I'm looking for a job, and scouting out some internships. She told me last night that she wants to pursue another guy before she takes off to see if anything can bloom and the only reason she's really been hanging out with me is because she does still have feelings, but she wants to see me get on my feet more than anything, and she didn't want to hurt me. I told her that you have to hurt people as it's an inevitability in life, and I gave her the go ahead to try and get with this other guy. I don't know if he has feelings like that for her, but he may. Needless to say, I hope he doesn't, but it's out of my hands now. First true love too. Ouchers. Don't worry buddy, best of luck to you though, I know it sucks.

QUOTE (kev211 @ Jan 24, 2010 -> 08:32 PM) You could always roll with Sports Marketing. This is true, but I'm not so sure I really enjoy the marketing aspect

I think I'm going to be changing my major from marketing to sports administration. I know I won't be happy in the future if my job doesn't involve sports so I feel this is the better choice.

QUOTE (Drew @ Jan 17, 2010 -> 07:24 PM) Usually on a National broadcast, the announcers defer to the team with the better record, but those mouth-breathers were rooting for Detroit the whole game. Listen to how they called the fight between Eaves and Versteeg, listen to how they called the goals for Detroit compared to the Blackhawks. And I only have Internet, where the radio stream is about :30 behind the video, which means I can't do what I did as a kid and listen to the radio with the TV sound off. But yes, it was a great game. Best thing of all? If you ask me, I think we've found our big-game goalie. is it just me or did Versteeg win the fight?? The way the announcers talked they talked like Eaves won and i was wondering if they saw the same fight. That pissed me off

Your hand in mine - Explosions in the Sky. Unbelievable song for those of you who are into instrumentals. Instrumental music isn't my favorite but this is just an amazing song

I really enjoyed The Lovely Bones. I think Peter Jackson did a great job of turning the book into a movie. Easily my favorite book and I'm very happy with the movie.
