Cotts has been bad in critical situations as well... 3 run homer vs Twins when we made a comeback , and many other outigs where he has given up crucial runs.

I get the games and am in Chicago... both road and home games.. only ones I do not get are when they play on WGN.

Wow... slightly better than Widger, but not by much in my opinion. Who knows, maybe he finds the fountain of youth here.

Finally back to back solid performances from our starters in a long time.

If Pods does his job instead of his usual strike out.. we win. Was a good game pitching match but the fundementals fail us once again.

Wagner - nuffsed. Heilman, Bradford, Bell, Sanchez, Oliver. All of those with the exception of Heilman are UNDER 3 ERA! i'm just sayin that no one should be discounting the mets at this point. EDIT: oh and by the way, Valentin has 7 homers and a .292 BA for the Mets this year... in 150ish at bats... lol Does numbers mean crap playoff time. It's what you do when the time comes... ask Beltran and another New Yorker known as A-Rod. We'll find out once the playoffs start.
