  1. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 04:11 PM) Now Ozzie can say "Well, B-mac gace up two runs, so it doesn't matter that I started El s*** face." 2. QUOTE(SnB @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 04:08 PM) this is the worst game i've seen in a long long time. Ozzie will have them singing and dancing in the club house after the game irregardless. I wonder if Ozzie know they played music even when the Titanic was sinking?
  3. We better start cheering for Oakland, because those might be the only games Cleveland looses the rest of the way.
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 04:02 PM) Another thing that Ozzie did which I think might have hurt the psyche of this team was the whole Marte debacle on Wednesday night. There was just an awful atmosphere during that whole situation, including the booing by the fans. Even though the Sox hung on to win that game, something just didn't seem right about that situation. It kinda reminded me of the Paniagua disgrace. Criticizing Ozzie's club house? That is his strength. He knows how to handle players.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:59 PM) Well, we're facing Cy Wood and Cy Howell. Our backs are against the wall against those two superstars. You're right. I know what Ozzie is thinking already TIMO TIME
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:55 PM) I would love that lineup tomorrow. WE DON'T PLAY TOMORROW! Pardon. Tuesday's line up. We might score runs. Something we are unfamilair with.
  7. Ozzie should piss the team off tomorrow and put a line up out tomorrow like this. Lf Pods Cf Anderson RF Borchard 3b Ozuna SS Uribe 2B Iguchi 1B PK C Cassanova DH Gload Leave in Pods and Uribe because the are the only ones hitting. Leave in Iguchi because he always seems to be resting. Leave in Pods because the only other back up outfielder is Timo.
  8. It is not as if even if Iguchi was tired, he would not suck it up and play. Screw rest, the players want to win, not rest. November, December, and January are for rest.
  9. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:43 PM) Is this really happening? I'm sitting here pinching myself hoping and praying that this is one big nightmare. 15 1/2 game lead on August 1st. I'm num right now. Why pinch yourself when somebody needs to slap some sense into Ozzie?
  10. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:35 PM) Struck out like a little girl. But Iguchi needed a day off. Apparently Japanese players tire easily and don't care if there team is loosing.
  11. Ozzie not play El Dookie. Hell, he will have Hernandez in LF tomorrow to give Pods another day off.
  12. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:19 PM) Ozzie was content on simply winning series. A real manager would go for the kill in most cases. In all walks of life, the leader show go for the kill, not just for hte win. Putting Timo Perez in the line up regularly tells me that Ozzie may not care about winning the battle or the war. I am not sure what he trying to accomplish by resting players even with a 10 game lead.
  13. Would it be considered a personal attack to call Ozzie a mental midget who is more qualified to sing and dance in the club house than manage the team?
  14. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 03:06 PM) I agree. Oz is definitely the fall guy here. Kw does not make out the line ups. Ozzie is sending the B-team out every other game. Ozzie is the fall guy. Manger of the year to unemployment in 2 months??
  15. I love it when the claws really come out in topics!
  16. This game is over. Can't win with B-team offense of Timo, Everett, and Crede.
  17. Arow swinging at the first pitch aside, the sox had about five outs that inning and probably should not have scored. We just got some calls that Colon should have got. I also think Rex Hudler would sound more pleasant with parts of him being crushed in a garlic press.
  18. Perhaps sending a delivery from the Chinese restaurant to the Angels dugout would also distract Colon. How does the Shrimp Fried Rice smell Bart?
  19. Scooter is to baseball, what Mr. Rogers is to children's television programming.
  20. I'm all for anything that can help Buehrle, but can you some how incript Crede into it?
  21. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 12:17 PM) The Crede banner will be going down in the next day or so. It will make an appearance again, but its luck will be saved for when its needed. I hope this does not throw the entire universe out of whack.

Very inconsistant. I hope the real Mark Buehrle shows up soon.
  23. The power of the Crede banner has grown weak. Let's not forget to pay proper respect to the Crede banner today!
  24. QUOTE(SpringfieldFan @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 01:17 PM) Yeah I guess you are right, but I am just not cool enough yet to listen to Pantera and Metallica. Just replace the Bee Gees with Ashlee Simpson, and gradually work you way up. And don't blow up your disco records by yourself, leave it to the White Sox.
