White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
QUOTE(beautox @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:44 PM) jesus, would it kill you to spray the ball to all fields AJ? circa 03 AJ is trying to hit 50 homeruns this year, each of them pulled. Too bad the fences are not only 200 feet from home plate.

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:40 PM) AJ has such a noodle arm. Think Toby Hall with a torn labrum can throw harder? I think he might! If not, I am sure bullpen coach Mark Salas has a better shot of throwing out a runner ... from the left field bullpen.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:39 PM) AJ is currently doing nothing for this team. He is representing the team in McDonald's commercials.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:36 PM) Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow If not snow, let's just get on the plane after the game and just pretend like we forgot about Sunday. Kind of like forgetting how to hit today.

I Hate Him!
I don't feel like going through and reading it all, but let me just go ahead and include Paul Byrd.

The good news is that the offense can not be this bad forever. The bad news is that we lost two of three in this series with C.C. owning us tomorrow.

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:28 PM) What was that? Whoops! Now Dye is our hottest hitter. He got a hit. Notice the lack of green.

QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:27 PM) Dye takes 2 straight fastballs down the middle, k swinging time. As I said before, Dye should just be left off the roster until the weather warms up. He is just as useless as he was to start the season in 2005.

QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:21 PM) It seriously takes a special ed manager to put out a lineup with: 3 straight lefties, 3 straight righties. Regardless of who is pitching for the opposing team, what inning it is, who has success against who, etc. Fixed

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:15 PM) Erstad facing a LHP? f*** you Ozzie. This team needs more Pablo. Ozzie needs to be made to sit in the corner after the game and read "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Managing a Baseball Team".
-
White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
Ozzie's excuse list 1. The weather is too cold. 2. The offense can't score a lot of runs everyday. 3. This kid Byrd is a helluva pitcher. 4. Our bats will get going when the weather warms up. ... Feel free to add your own.

Mackowiak really needs to get the start in RF tomorrow with BA in CF. Wow, I am in favor of the "Sunday Special" line up.

Timo would pinch hit if we still had him. Timo might be an upgrade over April 2007 Dye.
-
White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
IF we resign Dye, we might consider leaving him of the roster until July. His start this year reminds me of how he started 2005. He looks like he is only swinging hard just in case he runs into one.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 09:04 PM) Nah, you let Pods hit, but now you replace him in the bottom of the 9th. ... at the very minimum, you should do this.

White Sox vs. Indians, 4/13/07 (W)
Anderson should have been hitting for Pods, then playing LF in the 9th. Or else, why the hell is Anderson on the roster?

QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 08:48 PM) The Cotts trade looks more lopsided every day. I couldn't disagree with somebody that likes Green Lantern.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 08:04 PM) Pods did fine on those. They were both odd fly balls due to the swings. Thankfully we get the out. That happens too much with those guys He did fine for him, not for a real outfielder.

White Sox vs. Indians, 4/13/07 (W)
Anderson needs to be in LF next inning.

Javy has stones. Where was this pitcher last year?
