  1. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 10:19 PM) Don't worry, I'm already prepping my speech for Soxfest to totally rip into the Sox, whoever is on stage at the time, for the way they have handled these ticket situations. This is just awful. The fans, like myself, who attend games regularly during the regular season when I can (I live 5 hrs away) get totally screwed and brokers end up with all of the good seats. They sure will take your money for any series during the season when there's plenty of seats available. But hell, when its on the line and the real FANS want to go, the f***ing tickets aren't available. f***ing bulls*** if you ask me and I am going to let my feelings be known to Brooks or whoever else I need to embarass on stage. It's not the Sox fault. They don't even control CS and WS tickets. MLB does.
  2. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 06:21 PM) Link? I hope you're not waiting for one.. cause there isn't one. The bulb continues to dim...

    Hawk

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 12:47 AM) Hawk played golf with grandson in Florida, tell me he doesn't have good reasons for being down there. That had to be a fun round... since his grandson is an infant.
  4. Ritz Carlton at Coply Place. They hang at Ten on the second floor. Have fun.
  5. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 04:48 PM) You'd think that there'd be room for SRO on the outfield concourse, right? Doubtful. Security issues was the reason they didn't for the DS. So I'm sure that will stand.
  6. QUOTE(JoeBatterz @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 04:42 PM) Where is section 159 located? Right next to the Sox pen.
  7. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 04:25 PM) http://whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/pr...t=.jsp&c_id=cws Sweet. For those of you that didn't get tickets if you don't mind heading down there on game day there were a ton of people selling tickets. Lowers down the lineswere going for $100 on a $40 face.. so that might be worth a try. At least it's not $300. And if you wait till the first pitch is tossed they would probably be face or less.
  8. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 04:24 PM) If you know Ed Farmer tell him he's annoying. LMAO... not on your life.
  9. Any "official" word on them being sold out?
  10. QUOTE(3E8 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 11:59 AM) Funny how all of them think Berman is a White Sox fan and everyone here thinks Berman is a Red Sox fan. I noticed that. Word for word descriptions several times.
  11. Been reading a few threads there today... almost peed my pants. Good stuff.
  12. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 04:00 PM) You are so off on this it is funny. The guy used roids and by popular opinion robbed Frank of the MVP.. and that one is posting supporting comments about him. So off is an understatement. Like I said above... there are some not so bright baseball fans out there folks.
  13. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 03:49 PM) Owned Did I say he didn't say he was a Sox fan..? No. Did he make the comments about the Red Sox..? Yes. Right back atcha, kid.
  14. QUOTE(dmbjeff @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 03:38 PM) they wouldnt have had rooney throw out the first pitch in that game vs the twins if he wasnt on his way out....plus they put out a press release on the subject....rooney is awesome, but HE GONE Ya know what.. you are absolutely right. I mean.. why in the hell would the guy himself know anything about his next move... What a stupid dumbass. I'll be sure to tell him that when I next see him. :rolly
  15. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 03:18 PM) Damn, Steff was right. Kittle does manage to whore his benches in every single press piece that mentions him. I'm shocked he didn't mention his dumb ass book also. :headshake
  16. There are some stupid ass baseball fans out there. :headshake
  17. QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:45 PM) well i woulda said the same thing but... if you're a season ticket holder you're die hard... and if you're die hard why the f*** arent you going to the WS? Some are brokers, and some are folks who bought tickets to all 4 games and are selling 1 game to try to recoop some of the cost. It's $1500 for 2 tickets to each game in the LD.. that's a lot of scratch for most folks.
  18. QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:39 PM) i havent heard it at the games i went to this year... I've heard it at all of them. While the fireworks are going off.
  19. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:42 PM) What's interesting to me is that there are already World Series tickets listed on stubhub, obviously at obscene prices. Season ticket holders. We got all our tickets weeks ago.
  20. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:20 PM) After review of that website...I am very confused and feel like if I were to make a purchase I would be sitting in the top corner behind two 7'4 Asian gentlemen. G... you have mail.
  21. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:12 PM) Nope and the few that are listed that cheap are listing the opening bid prices. In other words, they will end up at 4 X that price. Ahh... I see that now. Do they have a buy it now feature there..? In any event.. that's a lot less then $1000 a seat.
  22. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:10 PM) Uhhh....I'm not seeeing anything even remotely that cheap... Game 2 530 17 4 tickets together $150.00 each $600.00 all Auction (1 bids) View Details 108 18 2 tickets together $195.00 each $390.00 all Auction (4 bids) View Details
  23. QUOTE(Linnwood @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:06 PM) I got through right away at noon online but my "word for verification" didn't load, so I got f***ed, and had to go the back of the 'line'. No tickets for me. Looking at eBay for 'Buy it Now' the price for 2 tickets anywhere in The Cell look like they are starting at $1,000. f***ING BULLs*** f***ING BROKERS Stub hub is not at all that high. Lowers less than $200 for both games 1 & 2.
  24. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 12:51 PM) thats bulls***. Yea.. his quotes are bulls*** :rolly
