For regular season it's true. Postseason, no. There weren't even people working the window's yesterday. Try Jimbo's. A lot of people buying/selling there yesterday and not much over face from what we were hearing.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 09:26 AM) I have it ready to go. You can get video clips, right?

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 08:26 AM) BUMP Who is in??? Mike.. have your phone charged and nearby..

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 09:14 AM) You are gonna be pushing it arriving that late. I'd drive to Chinatown near 22nd street, park on the street or in one of the lots. Jump on the red line, go south, 1 stop to 35th street. Supposedly, there's a nice crowd down there already.

QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 08:08 AM) but then again that might be the biggest game in White Sox history- so you have a lot to think about! Oh... I'll be there.. just a question of a Sox fan or a Boston fan sitting next to us...

QUOTE(The Critic @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 08:03 AM) Would I sell my tickets for a game that may or may not be played? I certainly would. Not faulting you if you hang onto them, just saying what I would do. It's being debated at this time. We have 4 seats..
-
QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 07:17 AM) Oh i think it will be played. This series is going to 5 games. I think so also.. would I pay $700 a seat on that thought...? Uh.. no.
-
We got offered $700 each for our seats to Sunday's game from Boston fans... a game that might not even be played.

I haven't been in the office but for 4 hours yesterday and I'm leaving at 11 again today. Thankfully Jim's mom is recovering enough for us to head to the game. Lifelong Cub fan that she is, is sporting a Sox "Brains, bats, and balls" shirt right now.

QUOTE(SnB @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 07:28 PM) the church parking lot right behind the scoreboard. it's on the corner of 31st and wentworth. best parking available. For those of you planning on parking here.. you need to be here NO LATER then noon, and that might be pushing it. If the parking is anything like it was for the AS game that lot was near filled 4 hours before the game that day.

If the Sox win and Indians, NY or Red Sox lose

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 07:47 PM) You know, I agree with SF1. /faints They shouldn't 'celebrate' a wild card berth, yet. Not when the division is up for grabs. What was the goal? Division. Not Wild Card. Get the goal, then celebrate. But I don't endorse shoving my opinion up other people's asses either. They probably shouldn't drink, smoke, or have sex with groupies either.. but they do. -

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 07:40 PM) Nice...if they don't clinch tonight, your gonna have a fun one tomorrow. By tomorrow night the Sox will have a playoff birth clinched. And steff, you should know by now...there is no rhyme or reason when it comes to my grammar. The only thing that sucks is that we'll be in the car on the way home when they clinch.. I wish they had won last night.. then it would be even more awesome there tomorrow. We'll have fun anyway. Wow.. you spelled grammar correctly. -

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 07:36 PM) All I know is we'll be celebrating tonight. I gotta feeling we'll get a playoff spot tonight? Why the "?"....? I have to take it easy on the drinking tonight.. driving to Detroit in the morning for my last regular season game of the year.. -

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 07:29 PM) Well I'm sorry grandma but I don't see you throwing any leather out there on the field either. And you didn't see me telling people I have no business telling how to celebrate either. Now move along before I bet you with my walker. -

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 07:24 PM) Wow. At least add some knowledge to the thread maybe. You dont celebrate WC clinches when your still 1st in the division. As since when does a 16 year old have to be childish? As of this current moment, your the childish one for calling me out. Mind your business, that's what I am saying. You don't...? And what position is it that you play and for what MLB team...??? That's what I thought, kid. -

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 07:14 PM) Have you ever seen a team clinch the wildcard, still be in 1st in the divis, and celebrate? It would be childish in my eyes. Act like you've been there before, the job is not done. Just curious.. is there anything you don't complain about...? Childish.. in your eyes.. the irony. And FYI.. they haven't been there before. Let them enjoy it how they want. -
QUOTE(Mercy! @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 03:16 PM) Thanks. I was looking at an "Age of Majority Chart" that showed 21 for DC and Mississippi. Out of date maybe? Maybe... my search was specific to sexual relations. Maybe it's 21 for some things still in some places..?

QUOTE(Wiredawg1 @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 11:57 AM) I'm not trying to piss anybody off. I'm just pissed that the tribe may not make the dance, and in my opinion stand a hell of a lot better chance of advancing than the Sox. And I understand that it's a marathon and not a sprint. However the Sox remind me of the Ironman guy on the Gatorade commercial suffering from dehydration in the final 50 meters of the race. And what really pisses me off is the amount of time that Pronk missed because of Buerhle. We get that month back with Pronk and the Sox are looking up at us. Say what you want, but that's a fact. Winning lotto #'s please.. TIA.. -
All is well. Mother and daugher are resting comfortably. Joe supposedly heading back to Detroit for the game tonight.
