  8. My word for verification was paizza.. hehe..
  9. I don't care what that article says.. we ate with Jerry in the Stadium Club earlier this year and he was in full Yankee garb.
  10. Don't count Rooney out. The fat lady is on standby... but she hasn't started warming up.
  11. Billy Corgan was at the game last night.. he's an idiot.
  12. QUOTE(Greg Hibbard @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 10:44 AM) hey guys, does anyone know if I get through both on the phone and on the internet, can I buy tix with two separate credit cards and will call eight, or will they shut me down at the box office when I try to pick up that many? No idea.. but maybe you can have one set mailed to you to avoid any potential issues..? And FWIW, Ticketmaster claims that what you spend will be refunded if the games don't play. Specifically TM fees, but NOT shipping.
  13. Jerry Springer is a Yankee fan.
  14. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 07:51 AM) I don't have to listen to any of these announcers...since I'll be at all the games. And now one of my partners just called to ask about road tripping the Series...
  15. QUOTE(YASNY @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 04:40 AM) Beer fixes everything. And it did... Holy sweet geezus... last night was.. unreal. Just unreal. I wish I could describe it.. but I just can't. That place was louder last night when Gooch hit that bomb then it was Tuesday.

  17. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 02:53 PM) YEah, I'm dragging right now...and the sox has still been running through my head. I'm losing my marbles. Despite drinking tons of water all day.. I still feel totally dehydrated and disoriented. Another beer will fix that..

    Crowd Today

I am totally horse today.. but well worth it. I'm sure tonight will be the same. I'm gonna be spent tomorrow. :sleep
  21. No SRO that I saw. Ticket windows were not even open yesterday.
  22. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 07:48 AM) There were seats added in along the lines. Those could have been like MLB seats for press, but from where we were sitting, it looked like fans... George Ryan was sitting in front of the Mayor in those seats. He got booed all day..
  23. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 07:20 AM) They had 40,717 at the game yesterday, which is 1000 more than any other game they have had in 2005, so I would guess they sold 1000 SROs for the playoffs. I don't know if there is any way to verify that, but it is just an observation. Field seats were added. If there was SRO, it wasn't on the 100 level.
