  1. Lot F (I think that's F..), off of Wentworth accessable from 37th and Pershing, are cash also. Friends had no troubles getting in there 2 hours before the game on Wednesday. The gravel lot next to it was wide open also. They did open both days 3 hours before.
  2. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 08:56 AM) I think I read somewhere the Cards game will be on FX? I heard that.. but WTF... Nip Tuck is on Tuesday nights...
  3. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 08:51 AM) Check your PMs. Check yours..
  4. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 08:46 AM) So it's confirmed that it will start tomorrow? Yep.

    Jersey

    QUOTE(YASNY @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:33 PM) If I was going to get a player's jersey, it would be Fisk, Thomas, Ventura, Aparicio .... Guys that reflect the history of the Sox. Current players come and go to quickly. But, this is just my personal way of looking at things. Ditto, and have them. And a few others namely Seaver, Bo Jackson, and Black Jack. I don't wear them though. I have no idea how you guys wear that poly in the summer heat..
  6. QUOTE(CubKilla @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 11:20 PM) Democrats ran the entire State of Louisiana and look what happened. We already know how the Louisiana democrats reacted when a Class 5 hurricane was approaching and gaining strength ..... then..... they blamed Bush. But, but, but... Maybe if the Republican's didn't cut the $$ to repair the levies.... :rolly Funny stuff here... now it's the Dem's fault that the CAT 5 hurricane destroyed Louisiana because somehow how they run the G'ment is directly related to the degree of a natural disaster.
  7. QUOTE(JoshPR @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 12:51 AM) I don't think so. He said he was 17. So he was born in 1988. Let's say he could understand TV at age 5 that would be 1993. Wasn't Ditka gone already? Fired at the end of the '92 season.
  8. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:51 PM) Sure worked for the Saints. LMAO...
  9. QUOTE(beck72 @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 06:52 AM) MLB doesn't want to mess with its money schedule. MLB doesn't decide. Fox does. That's the benifit of paying billions of $$'s to get the rights.
  10. QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 10:22 PM) So, Game 1 on Wednesday. Book it.
  11. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 04:22 PM) Given the context of this argument, thats just about the most stupid thing that you could say Josh. Consider the source... Frank's over it... "Thomas still is miffed over not winning his third MVP in 2000" Sure sounds like it... :rolly
  12. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 02:45 PM) This doesnt matter steff. We should all realize that the White Sox have no chance and should never even step onto the field. Wakefield will throw a 27 pitch, 27 groundout game, and he will still get 27 strikeouts. Pfffttt... Not!! I'm off to dirty Champs... let's go Sox... finish this up!!!
  13. LMAO.. Wake is 0-3 in DS with an ERA close to 10!!!!
  14. QUOTE(brijames @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 02:32 PM) Looks like a huge area of rain off to the West of Boston moving East Northeast. Should be in the area within a couple hours. I don't know how long they would wait to play but it doesn't look good for getting this one in tonight. All local channels there and weather.com states differently. They'll play I think.
  15. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 02:20 PM) The wind doesn't really blow much on the field at Fenway, all wind is obstruted so it usually doesn't have a big affect on Wakefield's knuckleball at home. ...and if the wind is blowing in from CF with a knuckleballer on the mound, that bodes very well for the opposition, though I doubt the wind will be a huge factor today. Someone on WSI noted the weather is the same as Wake's last start against the Yanks... He gave up 7 earned runs on 7 hits with 3 HRs.
  16. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 02:19 PM) then why arent your seats there lol Tell me about it.. pfftt...
  17. QUOTE(Pods70Rowand33 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 02:17 PM) Thanks for the replies...why don't they sell standing? Liability. Where would they stand? On the lower concourse..? That's not fair to upper buyers. And they can't do it upstairs because you can't see the field from the upper concourse. It would be a nightmare.
  18. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 02:15 PM) I believe the attendance gets so high due to them filling the box suites. Remember, Jerry put in 2 rows of Box Suites...one above the club level and one below. Even during a sell-out game, half of those are full. The playoffs seem to have those mostly full. But a sellout does not require those be sold. From what I heard every single seat that a butt could occupy was occupied both Tuesday and Wednesday. I was told the difference in the #'s Tuesday to Wednesday was a corporate Patio outing.
  19. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 02:14 PM) I wonder how they added more seats. Are they just fold up chairs or what? and what does the ticket say if you got these seats? They are first row along the lines. George Ryan sat in them Tuesday, and some other big wigs Wednesday. They are for the elite guests. :rolly
  20. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 02:12 PM) I think steff said that they added more seats, I am not sure thought...Steff correct me if I am wrong... They added field seats.. not many. Maybe 200. But they also have cameras taking up the 1st row of scout seats and a few in the corners of the UD on both sides.
  21. My friend Mary - who is in Boston and at the park - says the weather is fine. They sky is still clear and the rain appears to be holding off. It's loud as hell there already and it took them 50 minutes to get there from the Westin which is normally a 15 minute treck at the most. She said there are a lot more White Sox fans then she expected.
  22. QUOTE(Pods70Rowand33 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 01:55 PM) Does anyone know when they sell standing room only tickets? Never.
  23. QUOTE(rudylaw @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 01:41 PM) Looking at the radar I don't see how todays game will be played. Looks like oodles of rain. Thats right I said oodles. Weather.Com and local Boston don't have the rain touching them until 7pm ish. It'll be fine.
  24. LMAO.. The Son of Sam site is praying for rain..
