I have to go. I got hives a few times before and it was pinpointed to raw shrimp (which I ate all my life without incident until 1997). The last "outbreak" was in 2000 and since then I have been OK eating Hooters Buffalo shrimp - which I had for lunch Friday... and broke out within 40 minutes of eating them. So now they want to test for everything (a patch test for iodine Friday afternoon brought on no reaction so they are confused as to what is the cause this time). I'll still go.. promise. Not being able to breathe for 30 minutes unassisted Friday afternoon was a very frightening experience...

Which, BTW, is bulls***. Jane filed for divorce from Ronald over a year before he was introduced to Nancy on a blind date.

On Friday I came down with hives. Had to head to the hospital and everything. fun, fun, fun.. :headshake Now I have to go in for a series of allergy and skin tests. Anyone ever had to have this done? Can someone tell me what to expect? They said it should take a couple hours.. why?

Some of you are so funny. JR is NOT the "boss". He is the "chairman" elected to be the voice. He doesn't make the decisions on payroll. It's a vote. He isn't even (close to being) the majority shareholder. There are several others with double the holdings than he has. The only reason he was chosen is because he was already in the public eye with owning the Bulls. And red&white.. how did you become aware that JR and Magg's agent are so far off in $$'s? How do you know that JR is even involved this early in negotiations..? And how about the fact that Maggs himself denied rumors of a deal..? Magg's a liar..?

Gore won by over 12 points here in 00. IMO, Kerry is better than him so I would guess he will win easily here.

That's kinda what I mean... They said early on that their plan was to explore their options. They said it. They initiated it. Why all the crappin on the Sox I don't understand. They can't make him sign. IMO, the only way Maggs stays is if the Sox make it deep into the playoffs if not the Series. He wants a ring. If it's not plausable here.. then of course he's going to go try to get it somewhere else.

I do. But what that has to do with anything I fail to understand. And at this point they (the Sox) have not chosen not to meet anything. All we know is that they stopped talking. Maybe to concentrate on the season at hand..? Naaa.. that's a crazy idea.

Some people only need 3 tickets.. when they call a broker (who usually buys in even numbers) sells them 3. Then they have an extra.. they hang at Jimbo's starting about 10 am and dump the singles for not much more than face. This is how guys in my office have been buying tickets to that series for the past 5 years. They don't are about sitting together and they always end up with lower deck tickets.

Naaa... as the day nears they'll get cheaper. Especially a single.

FWIW... him and JR were pretty chummy Tuesday night. I imagine that they have made a mutual decision to wait until after July to deal with this stuff. They know what he wants. I'm sure if they want him bad enough, they'll work something out. However... I wouldn't lay a bet on him being on the Sox next year.
