I was also surprised. I was actually shocked that there were no more calls about it after I was on. They made several comments that the "phones were lit up" with "seat weasles". I was only the 3rd or 4th caller.

So, I got an email back from the programming director at B96. Apologizing for the nature of the show Wednesday morning. They said they got about 5000 calls and emails about it after I was on the air. I know it doesn't mean much. But I was glad that I wasn't the only one that it irritated.

Absolutely friggin right! Like I said earlier.. unless you've lived it in some way you can not have a true understanding.

I dunno if this was mentioned in the thread.. but at the exact time it was reported he was set free.. he was playing for the O's last night.

Not important really but I disagree with that, I haven't considered ending my life myself. I am not emotionally void or whetever, I just never, ever came close to feeling that s***ty, maybe I'm too young yet? This is making a generalization about everyone, based on you experiances, something Steph was attacked for by many in her posts on this topic. I think saying suicide is selfish is mostly accurate, because the pain it causes to others is very real. Suicide is many other things aswell, and another accurate discription is that it is quite selfless, it's a way out the pain will stop ect. I am not well informed on the subject and I don't think I'm making much sense so I'll stop now. Ive considered it the way witesoxfan described. Id never do it but Ive thought about it... Whoops... there's that directional wind change again.

Everyone is OK. Just f'd up the front end of my car. Insurance companies and rental car places are almost as stupid and ignorant as my favorite poster here.

Because he intentionally did it AFTER he was warned. He knew what would happen. He took one for the team. End of story. Still it seems like everyone appeals their suspensions no matter what the circumstances. And most of the time they seem to get reduced. I dunno. Seemed to me with his reaction after he hit Jerry that he just wanted to do it and be done with it. No fan fair. Fighting it would make more news about it.
