MY point is that you are 100% wrong here. All of the interviews and written materials very clearly show that. It was also that you calling people people liars while talking about respect and sportsmanship in the same post would be bad enough by itself for the depth of the hypocrisy that you just showed, but the fact that you are 100% in that assertion actually makes it worse.

Joe McEwing said that Yermin missed a take sign. That is am important distinction and correction here meaning, according to our 3B coach who would be giving the signs, that Yermin DIDN'T actually know he should be taking.

When talking about something that is mostly subjective, calling people liars is basically a personal attack. When the evidence is all out there and you are 100% completely wrong, it is a slap in the face to everyone who you are disagreeing with. You want to get an attitude about unwritten rules, and sportsmanship, yet write a post like this? You were hypocrite as soon as you hit send. You lost all of the BS high moral ground you tried to act like you had. GTFOH.

Seeing the starts that both Vaughn and Burger are off to this year really dispels the idea that the Schaumburg camp was just a glorified batting practice session. These guys both made huge leaps and are holding their own so far at the higher levels.

Why does baseball take so much pride in being old fashioned? If he was really worried about his player, he could have also contacted Baldelli and told him that they fixed it. But instead he set his player up by publicly making it a big deal.

There it is. If a player injury was his main concern, why did he NEVER PROTECT HIS PLAYER after the Twins threw at him? He excused it and said he had no problem with it.

This is a steaming pile of hot garbage. The biggest rebuttal to it is that at no time, no time at all, did Tony EVER say ANYTHING about protecting Yermin, or saving his from injury. It was about protecting the game, and how the game is played. He also never once tried to protect his player once something did happen. They threw a fastball behind his guy, and he stayed in the dugout. Tony never talked about Yermin's health. Not a single time. Every chance he got he spoke about respect, and respecting the game. He DID say how he DIDN'T have a problem with what the Twins did, even when he COULD have mentioned injuries caused by thrown baseballs. On the bright side, after the stretches made to come up with 18 of these things, you should be limber enough to run a marathon. Either that or you have a future as a propaganda minister for some despot needing an excuse generator.

Tony also said he didn't think they were throwing at his player, and even if they were it was all right. He had a million opportunities to protect his guy, and took none of them. This wasn't about protecting Mercedes.

Dude is struggling to manage in a game that has passed him by. Even if this accidentally happened, it is a volatile situation that could meltdown at any time.
