When asked about internal candiates for MGR, said will be more than likely from the outside.

Could use Crochet as a multi inning reliver going forward to build innings, if a MiLB season does happen, could use him as a starter there and then eventually back to Chicago to manage workload. Does call him a potential impactful starter.

Crochet immediate futures is still TBD in terms of going to minors to work as a starter, or join team as a reliever. Does think long terms is a starter.

Kopech has been connected with MiLB coaches to work on his program going forward. Has stayed connected to team, even recommending a hire for the team who had been let go by another organization. Will be tough to over come missing two years, and building up going forward, but no question he is a part of the team going forward.

I missed the James McCann stuff, but it seemed to be hinted that they expected him to be gone.

Absence of a minor league season does make it harder to project Vaughn going forward.

Asked about Moncada going forward, does mention no one knows what people will looking like going forward after COVID, but all of his tests have come back normal. Seemingly no last damage to him.

Finally get the pandemic economics question Was happy they got to bring fans some enjoyment by playing the games. Credits everyone in organization for what they did to make it happen and what is brought to fans. Then mentions they are immune from what is going on because of pandemic. Would be a real nice problem to have too much pitching, doesn't think that adding another pitcher would be a bad thing, nor a bad statement on other guys futures going forward.

Cooper change is not a "major rethinking" of how they handle pitching and development. Mentions Zeleski. Said they do it well. Called it tremendous. Madrigal had shoulder surgery as expected, had been planned on previous injury separation, this is to stop it from happening. Out 5 to 6 months. Could be on rehab when spring roles around. Jose Ruiz, had minuscus repair in knee. Eloy foot sprain, also should be fine in next couple of weeks No other surgeries.

Garrett Crochet information is good. UCL is good, forearm strain. Expectation is that will progress, be without restriction in the spring.
