  1. I will too. If they wanted him on the 40, he would have been up in September. Same with Adams.
  2. And again, we spent more time on the one report that is false to slur the narrative, instead of the ones the focus on the ones that are true. Statistically this is about as clear of a case of confirmation bias as you could ever want to see.
  3. Cease, Zavala, Medeiros and Thompson, leaving one spot open for the Rule 5 draft.
  4. Welcome to Soxtalk, you must be new here. There will only a couple of us holdouts who didn't want to see a rebuild. The VAST majority of fans wanted this. There were literally thousands of posts over a period of years begging for it. All of them wanted to be the Cubs/Astros/Royals.
  5. Working on the Jose Abreu extension.
  6. This is honestly a hilarious response for its blatant hypocrisy.
  7. People wanted the rebuild so badly, and despite all of the evidence of how long that it would take, people still seem surprised and upset it is taking so long. This is a process. Sure a big signing could speed this up by maybe a bit, but this team is not going anywhere in 2019, and probably not 2020. This was was true when they burned it down 2 years ago, and it is still true today.
  8. Again, statistically between 4 and 8% of reports are found to be false. "Found to have merit" isn't the opposite of not true/false/ or lies. There was a million stories on this when the Kavanaugh stuff was going on, and despite the repeated attempts to turn this into another filibuster style closed thread with accompanying snide comments, or maybe even a mass deletion of posts, all I will say is that the information is out there if it is really wanted. This topic was well covered very recently in the media.
  9. If it takes a move like that to convince Harper/Machado to come here, I am OK with it. Otherwise, no.
  10. Today is the 49th anniversary of the first $1 million per year contract in MLB.
  11. Its like you don't know Soxtalk at all, lol.
  12. The price Houston paid and the fact that no one else apparently outbid them should be the two things that are the key here.
