  1. Parker has played 82 games in the last two years, including 31 last year after his 2nd major surgery. Levine has played 71 games in the last two years, including 24 last year after his major surgery. Even Markkanen only played 68 games last year. It is still a team that is pretty thin in the backcourt. I am still having a hard time squinting and seeing them as a playoff team. They need a year where every stays healthy AND the kids make pretty decent progress for it to happen. The odds of that are?
  2. This draft was very college heavy up front, which is what was said about it going into it. Things might change down the line, but the highest rated talent was coming out of college this past year. But that also didn't stop them from grabbing some HS kids later on.
  3. The #1 reason players switch teams is more money. Everything else is a distant #2. It can happen for reasons other than #1, but #1 is always money.
  4. Tim Anderson is sitting at a 2.3 fWAR SS today. That is #13 amongst ALL SS's in MLB today. His defensive rating at Fangraphs is good for #11 overall. Hopefully by "super sub" you mean he is a middle of the pack starting SS today, because that is where he is. And that is even if you were to look at what is he is doing this year as his peak. If his bat improves and his defense continues to improve, you will be talking about a top 5 SS in all of baseball.
  5. After the hype that hit with Kopech's call up and announcing it a couple of days in advance, we would probably already know if Eloy was coming up tomorrow.
  6. I really don't see the Sox signing a major league free agent pitcher to much of a contract. I think we will be closer to the Miguel Gonzalez aisle, then we will the Kuechel one. I will throw out the names Drew Hutchison and Yovani Gallardo as wild guesses.
  7. The Bulls need a lot more health out of key guys than those guys have been able to provide in their careers. After that, someone needs to take a leap and become the go to guy.
  8. There was one point in the season where I started to think it might be counterproductive when he was having problems getting even 4-5 innings in, but that didn't last long thankfully. I do think he is going to be a better pitcher in the long run for having those depths to go back to in his head when he struggles. Now he knows he can recover from anything.
  9. To be fair, I bet Trump has plenty of black friends.
  10. Except he spent his career at OU not being able to throw strikes.
  11. After running into Nicky Delmonico on a catch in short LF.
  12. Kopech got 22 starts in Birmingham. Cease has had 10. I think he at least starts there next year, maybe it won't last as long as the All-Star Break, but that is what I would bet on based on recent behavior.
