They have 10+ relievers out there. No reason to use Davidson now.

I am going to miss the guy.

He may go into next year as the utility OF.

Yoan with 2 hits again.

PALKA PARTY!!!

Yet it allowed the Cubs to buy cornerstones during their rebuilding.

The first sentence lost me. Sox fans are primo bandwagon fans. Ratings and attendance losses have accelerated with the rebuild, so it isn't like they have been faithful to this point. The one thing I know is the fans will start showing up when the winning starts, even it still takes years more.

I maybe the only one, but he screams contract year to me. I have zero interest in $100 million deal with him. Every single major stat of his is a career year BY FAR.

Maybe if Kavanaugh falls through, Russell could step in?

Yeah, you should know Soxtalk better than that dude. You just declared open season on yourself.

Realistically, Cordell is on the outside looking in. The only reason he is here now is because of injuries and the expanded roster. Seriously, the amount of time a couple of people are spending upset about Ryan Cordell is an astounding waste of time.

No, and no.

I think they would have dumped him anyway over the winter, but this has to just destroy his value knowing that he could miss a good chunk of next season due to suspension when all of this is said and done.

The false reality is that somehow he can be invalidated for not following what Reddy thinks is the only way to be. He doesn't need to follow his artificial construct to be valid. That is 100% not true.

That might have been the game right there. Does that get thru if it doesn't hit the runner?
