  1. Oh god, it is officially meatball weekend in the City of Chicago.
  2. It is the Watercolor thread.
  3. The turn around in Micker since the beginning of last year might be the crowning achievement.
  4. Well, that's good because Houston was the team that did that.
  5. He's also not nearly the prospect that Collins is.
  6. Historically bad like losing 111, 107, and 106 games over 3 consecutive seasons?
  7. To be fair, there haven't exactly been many people in the kitchen either, but many more self-professed remodleling experts.
  8. To no ones surprise the early Democrats lead has almost disappeared. https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/09/politics/cnn-poll-generic-ballot-narrows/index.html?sr=twCNN050918cnn-poll-generic-ballot-narrows0308PMVODtop
  9. I forget who I saw the write up from, but the main theme was that his numbers are as good as they ever have been, there is nothing wrong with his stuff, and there haven't been any new redflags emerge about him. As to the being a high strung guy, Baker Mayfield is on line 1.
  10. There is lots of recent talk that Singer might be a victim of prospect fatigue more than performance related issued.
  11. I bet I know who the "remodelers" are in this scenario, lol.
  12. The solution is obviously to sit there and scream at the remodelers until their work is done.
  13. If they aren't ready to be here, it doesn't do them any good to be here.
  14. I crown thee, King of Soxtalk.
  15. Eloy alone is probably going to win this deal for the White Sox, if he hits anywhere near what he is flashing right now. If Dylan Cease can stay healthy and become a starter of a level somewhere even close to his ceiling, the Sox get a huge win in this deal as Cease would be worth Q alone, Jimenez would be a bonus. If the Sox get a star Jimenez, a middle rotation Cease, and anything out of Rose and or Flete, again this is a huge win for the Sox. If the Sox get a star Jimenez, a front line Cease, and anything out of Rose and Flete, this is one of the greatest trades of all time for the White Sox.
  16. If the implication is that they haven't tried, or that they won't try, this couldn't be further from the truth. The early extension is something the White Sox really try hard for. They just signed up Tim Anderson to one this time last year, so it isn't like they haven't gotten away from it. I am at about a 3 standard deviation certainty that they have approached the guys they want to approach with these sorts of deals. I am also incredibly positive that they will continue to do so as guys like Kopech, Jimenez, and company make it to the majors. This is standard operating procedure for the Chicago White Sox.
  17. I know it said one, but here is my top to bottom of most likely to least. Bummer Fry Avilan Jones Rondon Beck Volstad Soria
  18. For the record, he has a $10 million team option for next year, that contains a million dollar buyout.
  19. I think one of the inefficiencies the White Sox are looking to exploit right now are college and minor league relievers. It is early now, but we will see how it turns out.
  20. This is the best post in the entire thread.
