No 40 man spot, so roster bingo begins soon. Maybe Minaya outrighted?

They specifically said NOT a steroid.

Kevan Smith just hit the Milb DL, so it is either .165 hitting Alfredo Gonzalez or newly activated Brett Austin ,

Engel>Mendoza

How was that not caught?

Looked like he jammed his knee sliding into 3rd base on a steal.

It is a great strategy.

Loury just torqued his knee.

No. If he is in a year where an option was used, he does not need to be exposed to waivers. No option, then waivers.

Great cutting action back to the inside corner.

Your option is burned when you are sent down. Smith's option for this year was used when they sent him down in the spring.

Damn it.

Yes! This is why you don't release rookies.

Adam Engel is almost to Mendoza.

All of the way down to the horrible outfielding.

Second time through the order looking much better.

This just in: Yoan Moncada es bueno.

Imo they need a dome worse than Minny does.

Like I said, an absolute joy. As a fan, he is my favorite.

The Rangers stadium is awful when it is hot. Because of the office building along the LF wall, there is no opening in the OF for air to flow through. The park is oppressively stagnant when it is hot there, which is pretty much from May to October.

Last I checked, Thompson has been about 50 OPS points WORSE than Engel, which is just scary. I don't think that he is THAT bad, but he sure hasn't shown otherwise at the major league level for quite some time now.

You could copy/paste this for the rest of the responses to this thread, but it wouldn't really matter.

We took a summer vacation down there last year. Our first day on Galveston Island it was a heat index of 114 when we got there.

Summers in Houston specialize in 120 degree heat indexes. Typically highs are in the 90's along with tropical humidities. it is BRUTAL.
