And he is getting walked off of the field with help from Hermie and Ball.

And now Avi is down after running through first base. Pointing to his groin.

Very cool to see the Seattle Mariners also hanging up a Danny Farquhar jersey

Moncada is half way to the cycle in 1 inning + 1 batter. Mariners defense has also been pretty brutal so far.

Not only two good innings to start for Carson, but only 25 pitches to do it. This is an ideal start to the game for him.

Oh.Emm.Gee.

Moncada is back out at 2B for the Top of 2nd

100%

Sitting here today, if you had to pick one of Dylan Cease or Alec Hansen, which would be your choice and why?

Cut Anderson.

7 straight. There has been some exit velocity this inning.

6 straight. Also a solid way to increase that Team RISP number.

5 straight hits. Very nice.

Moncada on the bench stretching.

Welcome to Soxtalk from across the pond!

My guess is he won't be up before the Super 2 deadline. No good reason for it.

Fulmer with a textbook perfect rundown.

Have you thought about applying for a job as climatologist with our current Presidential administration?

It is nice to see he was extremely efficient as well.

Sadly when the team gets on a hot streak, I am sure people will start talking about the playoffs again.

The reason is to let the kids learn on the job so that they are ready to play once the time has come. If it were truly what you think, Jose Abreu and Avi Garcia wouldn't be here. Neither would Miguel Gonzalez, Wellington Castillo, or Joakim Soria. That is $40 million right there that if what you thought was true, wouldn't be here. Turning this around, why would the Sox be spending money on these guys if the object was truly profit?

Yeah, when Rodon and Kopech are ready, the team is going to get a whole lot better. Even if Kopech struggles, substituting Rodon for either Shields or Miguel is going to be a HUGE step forward.

So you can't answer the question?
