  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 11, 2016 -> 05:07 PM) How does that make sense when we have 2 scheduled off-days in the next 5 days and are likely to lose at least one game out of three in NYC due to the weather forecast? I guess we're playing for August/September...as Ventura learned in 2012 when that team completely wore down during the stretch run. If a guy is sore today, a day off tomorrow doesn't help. That makes perfect sense to me.
  2. Worth noting is that Ventura did say specifically that the pen was limited today. He didn't want to go to certain guys.
  3. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 11, 2016 -> 03:45 PM) Well, in this situation at least there is a scenario in which there could be inappropriate behavior (little girl could see a male body part in the women's room; kind of scary for the little kid). Most of the protection of little Johnny and Jane in society are situations in where there is no situation set up for inappropriate behavior, just the parents coddling their little preciouses. Why isn't the situation where a male could do something inappropriate to another male talked about? That is actually more likely to happen.
  4. QUOTE (ronkark @ May 11, 2016 -> 03:44 PM) Nah. I provide Stoned-like insight. Soak it up, junior. Soak it up.
  5. Nice inning for Jennings.
  6. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 11, 2016 -> 03:35 PM) 90 percent of the time the parents are "protecting" little Johnny and Jane they don't need protecting from anything. The irony is that your whole presence in this thread has been trying to "protect" us from those scary transgenders. Sounds like hypocrisy to me.
  7. QUOTE (ronkark @ May 11, 2016 -> 03:33 PM) Yeah I tend to only post during losses. DUH DUH DEAL WITH IT! Acceptance my son, acceptance. Like I said, some people prefer drama.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 11, 2016 -> 03:28 PM) Did you jump back on board after the Baltimore losses or something? Jump back out of the wagon please. Some people live for drama.
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ May 11, 2016 -> 03:26 PM) Bullpen usage tends to suck when everyone you put in craps the bed. Would love to see your master plan. Bingo. It is tough to make a good decision when each relief appearance the last two days has given up at least 1 ER.
  10. All you have to do is watch our bullpen to know why the Sox tried to extend Latos another inning.
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 11, 2016 -> 03:11 PM) The wind in that stadium is so weird. Blows in AND out With the entire stadium closed in by the offices in center field, there is a wind that blows above the seat level, but then when it gets into the stadium it swirls the other way. It is bizarre.
  12. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ May 11, 2016 -> 02:58 PM) I've always wanted to coach but the politics in it seem like a drain I don't need, my favorite and best coach growing up was forced to quit by parents. He was fantastic with kids and really knew how to coach them up, which is a lot harder than one would think. But his one flaw was that he was relentless on the umps and other coaches (but never got on the opposing players), you could be up by 10 runs and he'll still argue balls/strikes with the ump. I guess his act got old, which is too bad because every kid wanted to be on his team (and no other team wanted to play against his). It depends on what age group you are looking at. For the young guys, this is stupid. They should be learning the basics of the game, teamwork, sportsmanship, respect for authority, and having some fun. Once they start to push into the middle school area, then you can start to get more serious about it. I despise the people that make young youth sports into a highly competitive environment. That isn't what it should be about.
  13. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ May 11, 2016 -> 03:00 PM) Saladino is going to get a hit here. Nice work.
  14. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ May 11, 2016 -> 02:50 PM) You had to do say it huh? But you got the visual, didn't you
  15. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 11, 2016 -> 02:49 PM) Can someone describe Fielder's hit? Kansas City special.
  16. Chuck Garfien ‏@ChuckGarfien 19m19 minutes ago Hawk Harrelson on Frazier: "He said he was just more scared than anything."
  17. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ May 11, 2016 -> 02:37 PM) Provided Frazier's injury is "just" his teeth going through his lip, that's good news. And Hawk going to check on him is awesome. He can be tiresome in the booth, but the guy cares. There is nobody on this planet that lives and dies with the White Sox more than Ken Harrelson.
  18. Yeah, hopefully Frazier is OK. It would be a huge loss to lose him for any real period of time. Really hoping no concussion is involved.
  19. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 11, 2016 -> 02:03 PM) Hero worshippers. Let it be known, Trayce Thompson hit a walk off homer last night. :eeyore
  20. QUOTE (mmmmmbeeer @ May 11, 2016 -> 02:02 PM) The Rangers can just flat out rake. So can these White Sox as of late.
  21. A little early for a Frazier RBI, but I will take it!
  22. Big two out RBI. Very nice Jackson.
  23. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ May 11, 2016 -> 11:07 AM) Bernie is losing because he's not a democrat and the establishment has done well to brand him as such. He is essentially piggybacking on the democrat party the same way Trump is doing so with the Republicans. For him pretty much being a no name politician he has done rather well. In 4 years, if a similar candidate is produced maybe it will bode better for them. Between Trump and Clinton we have two s***ty ass choices but it's somewhat like this every presidential cycle. America loves to take it up the rectum and deserve everything it has coming to it by electing god awful candidates all the time. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-elec...l-idUSKCN0Y21TN
  24. QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ May 11, 2016 -> 01:21 PM) what happened? Eaton gunned Mazzara trying to stretch a single to a double.
  25. Eaton does it again!
