Are the Sox actually building a respectable Latin American operation?
Like I said in the initial post, I was even trying to get past the older international signings to focus in on just the 16 year old crowd.

Are the Sox actually building a respectable Latin American operation?
So Tatis being a $300 million player and Yolmer being a gold glove second basemen are bad things and not signs of progress internationally?

Good call, thanks for the update.

Are the Sox actually building a respectable Latin American operation?
That has always been his calling card. The bat was the thing that was doubted.

BA White Sox Top 10
The podcast said he could actually skip Kanny and go straight to Winston.

Liam Hendriks coming up in trade discussions
Boston would eat half the contract to get a gigantic return. Seeing what pitchers are getting paid in this off season, Chris Sale under $20 million and on a short term deal has a ton of value. If there are multiple teams interested, that is only going to increase the bidding.

Are the Sox actually building a respectable Latin American operation?
So even discarding the Cuban signings such as Chapelli, Mena, Vera and company, seeing these lists, it seems the Sox are actually building a Latin American operation which might be finally starting to pay off. Bryan Ramos is a top 3 player on the top lists. Lenyn Sosa got a call up, and is getting some hype as a potential starter, Carlos Perez also got a call up, and is currently sitting 3rd in the catcher depth chart with a potentially toasted Yas Grandal in front of him. Jose Rodriguez is getting the same kind of level of thought as Sosa. The hype train seems to be starting on Ryan Burrowes. Erick Hernandez didn't have a great year at 16, but is thought of a potential breakout and high ceiling player. Guys like Luis Meises, Darrio Barrero, and Wil Veras and getting talk as players with a loud tool who could break out with some other advancements.

Liam Hendriks coming up in trade discussions
After watching the free agent market I can confidently say that Chris Sale won't be cheap. There is no reason for him to be cheap anymore.

Official NBA 22-23
Step 1 is to find a real PG. I don't think they are willing to go into rebuild mode, so that seems like the next best move. It worked with Ball, so you find another guy who can do that.

We're not up there trying to hit singles
I have been to like three games in my lifetime that hit that level. The Blackout game Game two of the ALCS 2005, aka the AJ dropped third strike game and this one.

I think Cohen's big mouth ruined that idea. Sounds like Correa has a pretty clear grievence if Cohen doesn't come through.

Until told otherwise, I continue to believe that something big happened which caused the need for him to be gone immediately. Too much stuff happened too quickly that didn't make sense put together. Obviously the Sox don't care who they hire at the same time, but hopefully the full story leaks out one day.

This is awesome.

Oh there are worse, but dumber is a different story. Look the A's get their place in the world, and are doing what they can to make it work. The Pirates are cheapest organization in pro sports. The Orioles are a one man disaster. But none of them decided to put a guy like Tony in charge when they were trying to get to a World Series.

We suck, so . . . why?
If the last 30 years have taught us anything, it is that just because an area has a population, doesn't make it a good place for a pro sports franchise.

Rumor: TLR will (NOT*) be present for ST *update
I mean this totally could be part of the exit strategy to get him to leave. Put him in some BS ambassador type of position so that he feels like he is still doing something. But what other organization let's this get to this point? s%*# Denvers football team just fired a 1st year coach because it wasn't working and they were being embarassed. The Sox? Nah, come on back and make us look dumb again.

Or maybe, just maybe, the organization should be less blatantly stupid.
